They do not have to be games released in 2013, just your favorite played games of 2013.

My Top 10

1. The Last Of Us - Naughty Dog, nuff said.
2. GTA v - First GTA game I have ever beaten, needs more heist missions and assassinations in upcoming DLC.
3. Borderlands 2 - Still buying all the DLC, had to completely restart on the PS3. Can't wait for the X-Mas DLC coming tomorrow. Only real miss was the Thanksgiving DLC.
4. Rock Band Blitz - A few hundred hours spent on the 360 and PS3 versions.
5. Fallout 3 - Love everything but those subway tunnels.
6. Fallout New Vegas - Better game in most respects but the save game glitch was a pain in the ass. Lost too many hours due to not saving early and often.
7. Tomb Raider - Great game, great cover system, sucky QTE events.
8. Max Payne 3 - Beautiful game and pretty tough, at least for me.
9. Hot Shots Golf World Invitational: Best golf game on the market.
10. NCAA 14 - It is what it is, goodbye old friend, for now.

Honorable mention: Fifa and NHL 13 and 14 editions

My Top 5

#1 - Gone Home - A masterpiece of an experience. Will likely win a lot of real Top Game awards from people that don't mindlessly fall into the "GTAV is the best game EVER!!!!!!!" zombie crowd and be well deserving of those awards.

#2 - Rogue Legacy - One of the best platformers ever created. The smoothness of the game combined with the difficulty curve is just perfect in every way.

#3 - League of Legends - I've put more hours than I probably care to mention into it and it's been well worth every second of it. There's a reason why I own every champion in the game.

#4 - Path of Exile - A masterpiece of Diablo-like gameplay. There's a reason why the creators took 2 years to finally release the game and it's not because of crappy quality. Anyone that's even remotely interested in Diablo-like games owes it to themselves to play this completely free game (where the pay options do absolutely nothing but cosmetic things).

#5 - Borderlands 2 - Having a blast playing it with three other people though we've hit the second playthrough now and it's getting kinda boring just doing the same stuff over again. We'll see if it continues to be interesting or not as we continue to play through it.

I'll make mine after Christmas as I'm sure Super Mario 3D World will be, at worst, number 3 on my list once I can play it.

I downloaded Tomb Raider over PSN (got it for less than $15) aaaaaaand......unless the bottom falls out and the game starts to suck REALLY bad or Super Mario 3D World is even more spectacular (I won't know until Christmas Day), the top spot on my list has been decided.

Another year of not really buying too many games, so it makes the list only 10 long, and that's if I include Xbox Arcade and PC games.

1. Grand Theft Auto V
2. Dead Rising 3
3. Ryse: Son of Rome
4. The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)
5. State of Decay
6. NCAA Football 14
7. Defiance
8. Forza Motorsport 5
9. Battlefield 3
10. SimCity
11. WWE '13

It's a very solid title I enjoyed going through the story mode twice. It gets a little "sci-fi" towards the end (sort of like UC) but its just a really fun/compelling game I just enjoyed TLOU slightly more b/c of the story.

Well, after 2 hours of playing Mario 3D, I can make my list.

5) NCAA Football 14 (Multi)
4) Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS)
3) Fire Emblem Awakening (3DS)
2) Tomb Raider (Multi)
1) Super Mario 3D World (Wii U)

The reason Mario won out over Tomb Raider is because my wife, who loves 2D Mario games but hates the 3D games, watched me play, then wanted to play, THEN had to force herself to stop playing. We played through the 1st 2 worlds in multiplayer and my wife said, "This is really fun." Any game that can win her over is good enough for me so it's my game of the year.
