Two new uniform packs are now live in the NCAA Football 14 Uniform Store. The packs include numerous helmet, jersey, and pants options for schools such as Nebraska's "Unrivaled" uniform, UCLA's "LA Midnight" uniforms, Notre Dame's "Shamrock Series" uniform, and Maryland's "Red Pride" uniform.

Anyone else have issues with Pack #7?

I see the Nebraska & SDSU updates, but not the rest. The system froze as I try to view Notre Dame's Shamrock Series uniforms. This has happened twice now.

Pack #8 seems to work, except I am not seeing UNC's helmet.

Several people over at OS have reported the ND freezing issue; supposedly EA is aware of the problem and are working on it.

Also, from what I've been able to glean some of these aren't part of preset uni's so you have to change individual components to view them.

Re ND issue: a guy over at OS reported that he deleted all of the uni packs, re- DL'ed #7 and was able to get it the 13 Shamrock Series uni's to work without freezing. He is now in the process of DL'ing other packs one at a time to see if one of them is causing the problem.

From a more reasonable standpoint, it's likely that the Madden art team would have more time to spend on NCAA than the engineers. There may also be some type of contractual obligation that they have to fulfill.

It's very interesting to me that there's been a lack of Nike uniforms in these packs, or at least it seems like it. And the Ohio State alternates that have been worn three times in the past two seasons have made no appearance that I'm aware of.

Why have they still not added the new Ohio State uniforms they wore against Wisconsin and Penn State!?!? Its been 2 years now that Ohio State has worn them and they still don't have them in the game!

Any update on the ND issue? I've got a bowl game against SDSU, so I'm about to buy these packs.

Be careful of new unis in ODs in user games. Had new unis with Texas and it kept kicking the other user off everytime. Finally changed the unis to the default ones and it worked. Not sure if this has happened with anyone else but its something to be alert about.

ODs should have an All Or None policy with these updates. Either everybody gets all of them or nobody gets any of them.

Game freezing due to uniform pack

After I downloaded uniform pack 7 my game began to freeze when choosing the Notre Dame Shamrock Series 13 uniform. I would like some feedback to resolve the issue so I can play with these uniforms. Also I was notified by others on another game forum the when choosing this uniform, the computer default uniform is also an away jersey.

So just to clarify was this issue ever fixed? I have all of the uniform packs except #7 and 8. The issues as I recall were:

1. ND Uniform freezing issue with the shamrock white unis
2. Fresno state... forced both teams to use colour unis
3. SDSU... forced each team to use colour unis

* I looked on the net but never found any actual clarity. Some people claim that deleting and then reverse ordering the packs in the downloa process solves the problem but just as many people call BS.

Just a guess but I would assume for as long as the game is available on the PS network as you have to buy the packs from PSN. I assume it will be available for another year or so at least.

Question

I get this error when I try to download any of the uniform packs.

Says something about "to access online functionality you need to login first, please sign-in"

I am signed into PSN and Origin account as well far as I know.
