Definitely. My real backup isn't terrible but definitely limits my passing in my current offense with 82/79 throwing abilities. My true Freshman is a horrible passer with 75/70 abilities but he has really good running attributes. My initial practice mode time with the spread option has me optimistic but my game next week versus Indiana will tell me more. Thankfully I have two CPU games before my next HUM game.

Got my bare ass spanked by ball state 62-19 in my first actual game.. i muffed two punts early in the first quarter , both inside my 5. That put me in a hole early.. and my passing game was absolutely rediculous; i dont know if its the settings or what but i had 15 dropped passes.

And FYI, I still haven't touched sliders since the start of the season. I think it's just a matter of the CPU getting game film on us and putting it to good use (ie learning our tendencies). For next week, I do plan to adjust some of the sliders that would effect the running game. Most likely I'll just be adjusting the HUM Run Blocking slider down but I might also adjust the CPU Run Defense up as well.

WKU picked up their first win of the season last night 24-17 over FUI. Good game and I'm pumped to open conference 1-0. Very happy now.

hey gshwendt, is JTS and Fake the Snap broken now? In our game chunkster got down and in the 2nd half went DL aggressive for a few plays, i decided itd be a good time to mess with fake snap feature since the new patch said they finally made a penalty for it, but it seems chunkster turned it back off and then his DL would still jump off sides? Anyone else seen this?

Ive never seen fake snap work since ncaa09, and definitley not when DL aggressivewas not being used??

When someone is using the fake snap every play yes...you will have someone jump offsides...also...this is a brand new game....how do you know that someone wouldn't jump offsides?

it was 3rd and inches lol, i used it 3 times total because of the patch notes i wanted to see if it really had a penalty or not, i have used fake snap before patch 2 and never seen anyone jump, decided to try it out, im sorry it seems broken.

your exaggerations are a bit extreme, can you tell me if/when you turned aggressive DL on, and when you turned it off ? im trying to read through some other forums to look for similarities.

Pretty much. I made a guy jump offsides 7 times in a row on the first fake snap because he refused to change his gameplan settings to normal or conservative. Of course he quits after getting tired of seeing his stupidity and stubborness fail him, so I waste 10 minutes to play defense and get some ranking points that I don't care about.

Apparently though you can still draw people offsides if they are set to normal or conservative if you give a long enough snap count. So I'm sure the cheesers will start abusing the crap out of this soon. I always just go on a snap count of 2 because it negates the aggressive settings benefits as they always jump on 1 and it doesn't have too much of a risk of getting my OL to false start. just found this, looks like we might need to ban DL aggressive AND fake snap

Did notice i was drawn offsides alot more in a "play now" game yesterday. Set it back to normal and got called once I then set it to aggressive and didnt see another one

It is 100% a glitch and he was most likely telling the truth.

I was able to get the team i was playing to get 20 encroachments in a row on CONSERVATIVE.(two controllers playing myself)


People are not cheesing you everybody by having the D Line on aggressive the whole game, the patch added this glitch.

The only cheese is to continually fake hike after you opp gets a penalty. Even if he changes it back to conservative it does nothing and the game glitches out.


So STOP FAKING HIKE UNTIL EA FIXES THIS! It is now as big of a glitch as the QB walk and the disconnect glitches. If you do this INTENTIONALLY you are glitcher, please people put an end to this until EA patches the game(again lol), it is, and will ruin online play.

im sure g will check it out today, but we may need to start thinking of banning DL aggressive and fake snap

Told ya FSUprime that I didn't have my DL on Aggressive...so on 3rd and 1(or 4th and 1) it's still pretty cheesy...and again I know you didn't know this before hand just something you won't see from most in this league even if they didn't know it either...
