EA COO Peter Moore has stated at Gamescom 2013 last week, "We don't ship a game at EA that is offline." Speaking to Engadget (http://www.engadget.com/2013/08/24/ea-peter-moore-interview-gamescom-2013/), he said, "It just doesn't happen," and emphasized "we don't deliver offline experiences."
That would be news to me as I pretty much only "enjoy" the "offline" experiences from its titles (NCAA, Madden, FIFA, etc...) i.e. offline career/dynasty mode.
My schedule just doesn't mesh well with online dynasties so I've pretty much given up on the mode.
