I thought I would share my conference realignment guide with everyone. Using these steps you will make the conferences accurate while causing the least amount of interference with the existing conferences/schedules. You will also get bowl matchups that more accurately reflect a playoff.

Offseason Year 1 Realignment

SEC:
Under Conference Rules:
Change South Carolina's locked rivalry to Texas A&M from Arkansas.

ACC:
Use triangle to swap Maryland with Louisville.

Sun Belt:
Add: Idaho and New Mexico State from Independents.

Conference USA:
Add: Old Dominion from Independents to East Division. Western Kentucky from Sun Belt to West Division.

American Athletic Conference:
Add: ECU, Tulane, and Tulsa from Conference USA.

Big Ten:
Add: Maryland and Rutgers from American Athletic Conference.
Use triangle to swap: Illinois with Michigan. Purdue with Michigan State. Wisconsin with Rutgers.
Under Conference Rules:
Rename: Leaders division to East. Legends division to West
Change Michigan's locked rivalry from Northwestern to Minnesota.

BCS Bowl Tie Ins:
Remove the American Athletic Conference's bowl bid.
Change the Big XII Champion to the Sugar Bowl.

Offseason Year 2 Realignment

American Athletic Conference:
Add: Navy from Independents.
Use triangle to swap: Houston with Navy. SMU with Temple. Tulsa with ECU
Under Conference Rules:
Rename Div A to North. Rename Div B to South

Wish this would have been out a week or so ago. I think I got the conference moves all right but not the divisions. I'll print this bad boy and correct it when I reach the end of year 2.

Good work!

Good work!

I actually did all this about a week after the game started this year and numerous times last year, but did it all in my head every time. I figured I should make it easier for myself and organize it/write it down.
