First thing, I'm a new member here. My question is, NCAA 14 really worth buying. Right now, I'm playing NCAA 12 since late 2011. Been thinking about asking for NCAA 14 for Christmas this year. But since I have read on here about some of the problems with 14, I have thought about just asking to get NCAA 13 and then wait for 15 to come out to get the newer game.
So, is it worth getting 14 or 13 or just keep 12 and wait for NCAA 15?
To me the question is: Do you really enjoy 12 b/c honestly not much has changed gameplay wise since then. The run blocking looks better but there is still no defense.
Or are you an Ultimate Team guy?
If not, I'd probably wait for the inevitable price drop.
NCAA 14 is a decent game but nothing revolutionary this year. IMHO they mailed it in this year in and are focused on Madden for PS4/XB1.

Don't really care about the Ultimate team. The only thing new that I would want out of it is to play GSU and the new uniforms and uniform store. If I was to get 13, is the uniform store still be open for 13 or will it close after they start putting out uniforms for 14?

Personally I would go with 14... if you are an offline dynasty person. The upgrades over 12 are noticeable. Be prepared though that their is minimal defense in the game.

That is the only thing that worries me is the defense. I have always been an offline dynasty person as well. By the time that I would get it, there would be patches for it, but I'm still worried that the defense is going to be bad still.

I have played with the sliders enough and created a set that for me is very enjoyable. If you're willing to work the sliders you will be able to have enjoyable games IMO. The read option is still badly over powered and some of the cpu logic is flawed but it's not like D is 12 or 13 were all that impressive anyways. 14 is a solid upgrade. It's still Tiburon football so you know what you are going to get but I am enjoying it.

That sounds better. I will be first to say that I have always played on varsity level with sliders around 25 set for hum and 50 set for CPU. It has really work well and I have been please with it over the years, with a little bit of moving the sliders up or down over they years. If anything, I will move it to AA and play with the sliders, if I have to with 14.
