PS3 Cycle Defender (circle button) Not Working - help!

Just started a dynasty and playing first game. Unable to choose any players in front seven and circle button will only rotate me through 2 defenders. This used to happen 1/2 times per game in last year's version but is happening every down for me now.

I had no such issues playing ultimate team until rosters came out today. I just built playbooks so im curious if that could be having an effect. Anyone else experiencing this?

Are you sure your circle button works?

I'm using Tapatalk 2 and the Cleveland Browns STILL suck.

Yes, my button is fine - as an update i tried restarting the game 4 times. The first three i continued to have the same issue. On the 4th, i opted to use a standard 4-3 as my playbook instead of custom and the issue did not occur.

Mods or more experienced forum users - is there any way to submit such info to EA? I feel like there were some similar issues at launch last year that eventually got patched. Guess its another year of a glitched ea feature i cant use.

I'm using custom playbooks on offense and defense this year and have not had any issues.
