I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My dad went to a KC Athletics game in 1957. He was able to get several autographs.

Ya, I've had no luck. I understand people not wanting to take the time to help but I figured someone at one of the places I've called would at least point me in the direction of someone that could help.
On a another note...I wish I could go back to 1957 and kick my dad's ass. Do you guys know who all was on the 57 Yankees? Good lord! Mantle, Berra, Larsen, Ford...and the best he gets is Elston Howard! :fp: :fp: :fp:

Man I'd still love to have something as nice as that though I see your point about who he could have gotten!! Talk about missing out on a few good ones, wow.

Ya, he gave them to me but I can't see myself selling them. ...or sell them and buy him something nice with the money.

I think he'd appreciate and love it more if you kept them and handed them down to your son much like he did.

:D That's like rooting for the Cubs your entire life, and then having them win the World Series the October after you die.

I'm guessing he got who he could. The star players were not obtainable for him (at least I hope that's the case).
