NCAA Football 14 - Demo Available on June 18

The NCAA Football 14 demo will be available on Tuesday, June 18. This is according to a post on their official Facebook product page from 12 AM Sunday (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151660553187280&set=a.329807947279.149909.90440037279&type=1).

Operation Sports is reporting (http://www.operationsports.com/forums/ncaa-football/637772-ncaa-football-14-demo-arrives-june-18-full-game-3-min-qtrs-coordinator-cam.html) that the demo will feature a full game with 3 minute quarters, Skills Trainer and new Coordinator Cam with full details coming on Monday.

We don't know yet. I sent off a request for that answer so if I can share what they reply with, I'll certainly do that. I'm hopeful that after last year's demo and complaints that they don't follow that same path and thus allow us to change difficulty (especially since a new addition is the separate offense & defense levels). That and I'm hopeful that they allow 5 minute quarters or something.

I doubt they did much with it.
I kind of have that feeling also, about them not doing much with it that is.
Not sure if I'll cry that hard about it or not, but you never know. I do feel a tear coming on.

I am expecting 2 match-ups (1 with rivals and 1 with top 25 teams) using 2 or 3 minute quarters with no replays, depth charts, or stats. I would like it if the camera options and difficulty sliders were in but I am not counting on it.

Possibility of rivals match-up: Michigan vs Ohio State simply because it seems every year the cover guy gets his team in the demo. 11' Tebow (Florida in demo) 12' Ingram (Alabama in demo) 13' RGIII (Baylor in demo)

It used to be 2 but Madden has been 5 minutes. Madden does apply accelerated clock but last year you could turn it off. Three minutes isn't terrible but I hate being in a two minute drill almost instantly. That's why I like to take the game to OT if I can force it.

Well, Madden has 5 minute quarters, so 5 minute quarters in NCAA isn't an unreasonable request. I regularly have drives in my NCAA '13 dynasty that last upwards of 6-7 minutes. Can't do that in the demo. Nope, my entire offense ends up being rushed because I have a whole 6 minutes (spread over two quarters) to string along a drive.

If I want to have 3 or more drives throughout the four quarters, I have to rush even more. Sure, I can just sit there playing the demo over and over, but every game is different. Things that worked or didn't work in the first time playing the demo may not work or may work differently in the second time playing the demo. Player A may be more stupid in game two than he was in game one. Player B may not be able to hold onto a ball to save his life in game one while in game two he's catching everything under the sun.

That is true I always for get Madden does 5 Minutes so it wouldn't be hard. And I agree if I really have the PA and run game going I can as well get it pass 3 mins a drive if not more too.

As far as teams stated before that usually a Team cover winner ( Michigan vs some one else ) and probably Alabama and ND just because of title game. Usually I think how it works if I'm not mistaken.

I like 2 of the 3 games. Bama-VT doesn't interest me largely because I don't care about VT and am a bit sick of Bama. Having Oregon and A&M really lets us see how the cpu runs the option and uses mobile QBs.

After they have smacked you in the head with a newspaper and covered the 5,587,902 reasons Alabama is in the demo, feel free and reply back about your awakening to reality. Champions tend to make it into EA demos. Someone needs to stop Alabama from winning a championship. Someone has to beat Georgia first so they can get a chance at Alabama.
