View Full Version : NCAA14 Team Ratings with Prestige and Conferences

I've put together a spreadsheet that has all of the team Ratings (courtesy TSO) with their conferences for 2013 & 2014. This will help those that are planning their dynasties around the various teams and conference layouts. Below is the full table but to be able to sort, filter, etc., here's a link to a Google Spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvtJqcTghgb0dFVOck5QUmpORWtvNkVjX1k4TERKV 3c&usp=sharing). And FYI, the only planned changes for 2015 to this point are Navy to AAC and Appalachian State and Georgia Southern move up to join the Sun Belt.

Here's a link I used for conference changes (http://www.athlonsports.com/college-football/college-football-conference-realignment-tracking-all-changes) and also seems to keep it updated rather well.

On the Google spreadsheet, click the drop-arrow to the right of Conf - 2013 and it will let you sort or filter.

Figured it out. Looks like I'll be starting my offline Coaching Career as the OC @ :Georgia_State:

Sorry, to be clear just copy/paste to excel from G's first post. Unless you want to go with the Google sheet.

the AAC looks pretty balanced assuming noone takes :Louisville: in year 1. Memhpis low 70 everyone else is jammed between 81-84 ovr.

same with CUSA if you take out :ECU:

lmao SEC's worst team is :Vanderbilt: at 83 OVR

I'm confused on why :Florida: is only rated 90 overall when there defense is 92? Shouldn't their rating be 91 maybe 92 ? Or is it all about offense.

SCClassof93
06-12-2013, 04:40 PM
There is much to be confused about over these ratings. Really think Texas is better than Texas A+M or Maryland better than Vandy or UNC better than Florida :D. Thankfully we can edit them.

Now is Navy still joing the AAC in 2015? When they accepted it was still the Big East. Since then the former conference has exploded.

I don't think anything has officially changed. There's still a lot of time between now & then so who knows. That plus any other landscape changes could also influence their decision.

From the releases and emails I've seen from the Sports Information Department, even despite the changes over the last year, Navy is still full speed ahead for 2015. Obviously if any drastic changes take place in the NCAA landscape between now and then, Navy will review their options and decisions at that time, but for now, things are still on as planned for 2015.

I really can't fathom :Auburn:'s ratings. The Offense was lethargic last year and the Defense was piss poor at best. Not to mention not winning an SEC game. On another note, how is :Old_Dominion: rated a 70 overall? Didn't they just start playing football 2 years ago? The good news is :Memphis: has decent ratings.

TIMB0B
06-16-2013, 12:39 PM
Are the ratings based on the average overall of the starters? What would be interesting is taking into account the ratings of the Head Coach and Coordinators too. Texas always manages to do less with more, so for example they may have a 95 OVR talent level, but factor in coaching and it should drop them below 90.
