It'll depend on if the PS4 still has a bunch of issues or if they've sorted them out. Yeah they definitely need something in that last 1/4 of the year. However, the initial talk was roughly summer this year during the E3 reveal last year.

Then again maybe WatchDogs will finally release at the end of the year.

Watch Dogs isn't exclusive, though. Microsoft is going to have Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2 (probably), Halo Anniversary, and maybe Quantum Break releasing somewhere around that time. Sony needs something exclusive. There's no way Uncharted is really, and Santa Monica Studios has been really quiet, so I'm guessing The Order is Sony's big fall game. I hope so.

He did admit it but compared it to Naughty Dog and how they had a MUCH better demo of TLOU a year + out of release. He indicated in the podcast the B-roll footage they saw had "lots" of issues and if I am remembering the podcast correctly wasn't even playable.

Rumors swirling about 1886's length. Apparently the entire game has leaked on youtube and took like 5 hours to complete but apparently the guy did not look for any of the collectibles. Over at GAF a guy with the :plat: said it would take 9-10 hours to complete the game if you take your time looking for all the collectibles.

That sounds long enough to me as I will absolutely take my time but if your not into that sort of thing you might want to know that some are claiming the game is too short.

The critics seem to have their claws out for this game. I have read 12+ hours for the normal gamer which is good. Everyone says the game is beautiful. The common complaints are the game is too linear and doesn't bring anything new to the party. I'm fine with that. Will definitely be looking to get this game in the future. I would like to find a deal though.

From what I have read over at Gaf most of the members there have been largely + and nearly all say it is the most visually stunning/beautiful console game ever. Time will tell as the review embargo ends here in 8 hours.

Watching the 1st hour of the Kinda Funny Games stream and this game is really disappointing. Graphically beautiful, but too many issues to justify a purchase (biggest problem is the game's pace is awful - too much dead time and then long stops for long cut scenes only to allow you walk down a hallway into the next cutscene). Successfully cancelled my Amazon preorder so I'll wait for GameFly and get this what appears to be a fairly easy :plat:

Yeah, that's why I never preordered. Just too much was unknown with the embargo, and now that the reviews and play throughs are leaking out, it's just not worth $60 for me. I love the graphics, but I need more than just graphics and a run from cut scene to cut scene.

- - AI appears weak

- the battles against the half breeds are very weak was hoping they were difficult the ones i have seen were not

- no replayability - once you beat the game and collect all the collectibles there is just no reason to go back

I think there is potential with this series but its going to need to go back to the drawing board on mixing gameplay with the story.

I think that's fairly accurate its like a hybrid of Heavy Rain and UC. It's a 3rd person shooter like UC but more story driven and there are no choices which affect the story.

I think the complaints about gun play are due to the screen and having difficulty viewing enemies when you are in cover. Of course if it were "sim" you cannot see bad guys moving if you are covered behind a wall so I think I'd actually like that part as it leaves some room for surprise.

Finally picked this one up from GameFly on the cheap and finished the game. Its pretty much what I thought it was from my early viewing. I think it deserves a sequel but they are going to have to fix the # and length of cut scenes as well as have more gun fighting and a few less QT events.

Somehow missed a kill with at least one weapon so I'm going to have to go through chapter select again with a guide and just randomly pick weapons to get my :plat:
