I've heard good things about the original, so I think I'll give the HD remake a try when it comes out this fall.

I can't believe there are people that actually haven't played any Kingdom Hearts games. It was one of the 15 biggest franchises during the PS2 days. Blows me away.

Most if not all of my PS2 gaming was sports.

Same here. Actually I only fairly recently started playing other titles again.

GameFly is 100% behind me developing interests in other genres/games. I played just about everything as a kid on the NES, Genises and SNES systems. However, once I got to college I pretty much only played sports titles. I was getting burned out with EA Sports and the wife suggested I try/rent other titles. Signed up for GameFly and realized all the great experiences I was missing.

Just the step up that Gen3 consoles were got me back into gaming. The accessibility and structure, no longer having to swap out 8MB memory cards :D

I still remember back in early 2007 when I got the PS3, playing Resistance and just being wow'd at what it did. That led me to try out other games, and then eventually get a 360 back in late 2008.

In 2006, it was mainly playing in the OMML league for NCAA Football and online poker. A little GTA, Gran Turismo and Tiger mixed in.
