Essentially, this a simulator game about game development (Game Dev Tycoon) in which you have a game development company. You go through the various generations of gaming from Atari and so on. Funny enough, if you're playing the pirated version of the game, eventually in the game your company will struggle because of people pirating your virtual game.

Meh. Pirates will just find a way to toggle that switch off that says they're pirating the game and then it'll be back to normal. Same shit happened with one of the Serious Sam games a while back (last boss was invincible if you pirated the game) and was quickly "re-pirated" to no longer have it.

I don't think anyone is imagining this is the end of piracy, Debbie Downer :D

:dunno:

Just seems like a silly waste of time by the developer. Is it funny that they put it in the game? Sure. But, in the end, it's just a waste of time.
