Cincinnati Bearcats NCAA Baseball Dynasty MVP 06

Hey there.

I decided to fire up the old xbox and begin my dynasty and tracking it on here when I have time. I started to post on another forum, but it was not working out.

I am starting with the Cincinnati Bearcats, using default rosters, and just coaching. I plan on recording box scores, with stats and other updates at the end of each week.

I played the first two games and had information, then it got deleted. I split that series with the UAB Blazers, so I'm starting on here 1-1.

I'm mainly doing this because I wanted a record of my baseball dynasty seasons. If you would like to see anything different or want to say, "NCAA Baseball, awesome!", you're more than welcome to do so.

Here is some of my preseason information:

The Cincinnati Bearcats are coming in to this year coming off of a 25-30 campaign. With a national ranking of 102, their pitching is ranked as a D+, hitting is D+, fielding is B, and their speed is a D, with an overall ranking of D.


It is looking like it could be a rough season for the 'Cats, but they are up to the challenge.


They will have some experience in the outfield, but depth could be an issue. The 25 coming in to the season is looking like this:

The first month for the Bearcats will be a tough one, with series against the UAB Blazers, Alabama Crimson Tide, Boston College Golden Eagles, Illinois Fighting Illini, and the Bradley Braves.

Week 1 Update:

The Cincinnati Bearcats split both series this week to begin the season 2-2. The highlight of the week was taking a game from #20 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

High School Pitcher Connor Lira will be making an official visit this week as well.

Week 2 Update:

The Cincinnati Bearcats split with the Eagles this week to move to 3-3. The Bearcats came from behind 7-1 in the first game going in to the last frame, and scored 7, including a walk off 3 run HR with 2 outs.

The lowlight of the week came from getting pummelled the second game 10-3, with BC getting 21 hits to UC's 5.

UC was able to get their 8 RBIs in the series to score some new TPX bats.

Upcoming Week:

The Bearcats will be facing the Bradley Braves mid week and finish off the weekend against the Houston Cougars. Both series will be at home. Bradley is currently 6-2, and Houston currently 7-3.

The Bearcats will begin the week at home against the Bradley Braves. They will have a sponsorship challenge for aparrel, and will be succesful if they throw less than 5 wild pitches.

Breakdown:

The Cincinnati Bearcats were swept this week by both Ole Miss and Seton Hall. They fell to 11-14, 3-3 in conference play.

This week will be another tough week, as they will have 9 straight games, all on the road, and without a pitcher, as J. Lackey strained his PCL and is out for 2-3 weeks. They start off with a 3 game set against the Witchita State Shockers, followed by a 3 game series against the USF Bulls, and 2 against Minnesota.
