NCAA Cover Vote Championship: Michigan vs. Texas A&M

The NCAA Football Cover Vote has reached the Championship Round and features Michigan QB Denard Robinson versus Texas A&M WR Ryan Swope.

Robinson finished atop the semi-finalist voting with an extremely strong social media presence led by the University of Michigan and Wolverine fans. His high-profile career while at UM would make him a very recognizable name and face for the face of the NCAA Football cover.

Despite Texas A&M's national resurgence in 2012, Swope did not garner the national attention of teammates Johnny Manziel, Luke Joeckel or Damontre Moore . However, he will leave College Station with school records for receptions in a season and career. While Swope may not be as recognizable to the average college football fan, the rise of Texas A&M would make him a solid cover athlete as well.

Voting will remain open on Facebook from February 26 through March 8.

I just think cover votes should be done away with. However, since it's something to extend marketing of the game out by infinity, they're not going away.

Well, I do agree with you there, though if there is any school in the SEC that I'm cool with, it'd probably be Texas A&M. So if they win the cover, I have no problem that. As long as it wasn't Alabama, I was fine with any of the remaining choices in the semi-finals of voting.

It was meant for some Ohio State fans from my past, we are still best buds. Also having an Aggie on the cover reveals the shame of the Sooner's bowl record this decade every time I would go to play it.
