That was an amazing game CLW. I was about to throw something in the last OT when my safety dropped one of the easiest picks he would ever have and then on the very next play you scored. I was lucky to get the stop on that 2 point conversion for the win. You have a ton of speed at WR and it was killing me all game.

Yeah the Classic Score was my #1 and it was 2000+ 2100 something sounds right. LMAO I'm still sweating from all the "pressure".

Yeah both of our WR corps just torched our secondaries. I had to completely give up on Man-to-Man as my guys just couldn't keep up. It got pretty sad there in the OT as neither D was doing anything to really even slow each other down and I was beginning to wonder if the game was ever going to end. I figured it would probably end with some bs fumble but you made the play when it counted.

After the first half I thought it might be a low scoring game. Boy was I wrong. I am excited to have my TE Gunn for at least 2 more seasons. He is just a true freshman and is a monster already. Next year my receivers and Jacory all leave so my passing game will be interesting to say the least. Miller will probably try to leave after the season he had.(still not sure how the PSU HB won the heisman:rolleyes:)

Werd! I had two players I was after as well. I was #2 spent 1 hour every week this off-season and was down -1 point to teams (UCF and BC) that hadn't even offered a scholly to the player. Thankfully, they were just 3 star players as I was unable to sign either.

Happy Valley, PA

Let the legendary status talk begin. Eric Guillory in his 1st ever collegiate start in one of the most hostile crowds in the country goes 22/32 for 305 yards 2 TDs and 0 turnovers leading the #1 Gators to victory over the #4 Nittany Lions.

Guillory got off to a shaky start as the Penn St. crowd and the aggressive Nittany Lions D clearly got into the young man's psyche early. However, Coach CLW settled the young lad down and from that point on it was the Guillory show. Guillory was able to buy some extra time with his legs when he needed it which allowed the Gators receivers to break free from the tight Penn St. coverage.

Penn St. fought hard and kept the game close throughout scoring the final TD with 4:05 on the clock to bring the score to 24-21. However, Guillory was simply up to the task as he led the Gators down the field and ran out the clock as the Gators held on for a 3 point victory.

It was a crazy fuckin' game man, but don't be too down on yourself. You played a crazy good game man, but defense is definitely not an easy thing to lean on in this game especially when your opponent gets a few lucky breaks like I got. You are hella good at playing the MLB man. Got me on that twice and I was blown away that you were able to do it both times. If your team now isn't as good as they were last season, you must have been fuckin' unstoppable though your offense is definitely hurting for playmakers now and I've luckily still got some leftover from the original roster on mine.

Good luck the rest of the season man and I hope to god I don't have to play you again. :)

Miami had an insane TD with 8 seconds left that tied it at 21 to send it to OT. In OT we both scored fairly quickly and then his offensive possession in OT #2, I stopped a sure TD pass in the endzone to force a 4th down and him to kick the FG. My offensive possession, I took it safe and slow, looking to tie if I wasn't able to get the TD but I squeezed one in behind his MLB (the beast of a MLB that he user picked me with twice already) and scored the go ahead TD.

Player of the game was my QB Matthew McGloin who completed 33 of 41 passes for 426 yards and 5 TDs to go along with 3 INTs.

Both defenses forced 3 INTs apiece from the opposing QBs and Miami had 7 sacks to Purdue's 2. Neither team could run the ball very well with Miami's Lamar Miller getting 66 yards and TD on 15 carries and Purdue's Al Terek McBurse getting 22 yards on 10 carries.

Yeah, my QB would just miss wide open passes it seemed like every drive. What was killing me on defense is the fact that I have like 4 freshman playing in the 2 deeps at OLB so you would kill me with the TE or HB if I was not manually covering them. Those guys will be good in a few years, but right now they suck in coverage. They are insane at stopping the run though. It still blows my mind how little real interest recruits have in my team. At the beginning of the season I only had 9 guys with me #1 on their board and none of them were above 3*s. Hopefully I can get a QB or it will be a long next few seasons. GL the rest of the season man.

Purdue takes #17 behind the woodshed and gives it memories that will scar it for life.

Al Terek McBurse is the star of the game with 23 carries for 154 yards and 3 TDs along with 2 catches for 74 yards and a TD.

Game was close until Purdue pulled away in the 2nd half scoring 21 points between the two quarters.

Will Purdue be ranked next week? We shall see. ;)

Guillory and Coach CLW worked on the option game against a completely over matched Air Force squad. Air Force crowded the box with 8 guys all game long but it did not matter as the Gators ran wild all game long. Florida takes on the Vols next week in Knoxville for an early SEC test.

The Florida Gators layed a beat down on bitter rival Tennessee today. Freshman sensation Guillory was simply unstoppable. Guillory finished with 422 yards of total offense (294 passing 128 rushing) and 6 touchdowns (4 passing 2 rushing). However, Florida faithful did find out t hat Guillory was not the second coming as the Freshman committed his 1st turnover of the season. :smh:

Florida's usually rock solid defense was also somewhat shaky. Hopefully, the Gators simply lost focussed once the game was out of reach. Coach CLW's squad takes on his most HATED school in the country next week. Look out Kitty fans!

#16 Purdue runs over Wyoming to the tune of 501 yards on the ground (team record) with a monstrous display of offensive line power with Senior RB Al Terek McBurse leading the way with 277 yards and 4 TDs on 16 carries.

The breakdown of how badly I destroyed them on the ground:

Florida ran all over the Kensucky Kitties today in a totally humiliating fashion. It is well known that Coach CLW hates Kensucky with every fiber in his body and he took advantage of the situation today. He might had called off the dogs had it not been for the Kitties getting a turnover and kicking a field goal at the end of the half.

By the end of the game Florida had outgained Kensucky 603 to 72. Freshman sensation Eric Guillory continued to the Tebow 2.0 comparisons. Guillory finished 8/11 passing for 280 yards 4 TDs and 1 INT. He also ran over (literally) the Kensucky defense with 17 carries for 121 yards and 3 TDs. People in Gator Nation are already talking Heisman for the Freshman.

The weather gods had their way with the Gators and Tigers today. Sloppy/rain conditions led to 4 fumbles returned for touchdowns. Auburn struck first with the strip return for TD to take the lead and seemingly gained control of the game. However, Florida game up with one of their own stripping crushing the Auburn running back and returning it 80+ yards to the house to tie the game up at the half at 17-17.

That play just before the end of the half gave the #1 Gators new life. Florida would start the 2nd half with a field goal to take a 20-17 lead. Then disaster struck for the Tigers on an option play the Gators guessed right and "intercepted" the pitch and took it to the house to increase the lead to 27-17. The Tigers never recovered and one more fumble on a punt returned for a touchdown sealed the deal as Florida defeated Auburn 41-17.

Bama bounces back from a 2-game slide to destroy Mississippi State 59-6. Richardson's work was all done in the first half with 198 yds. rushing and 6 TD's, two of which were set up by Miss. State fumbles. The 2nd team defense was awesome as they posted the 2nd half shutout.

This game was just Tecmo Bowl on ROIDS. There were 9 lost fumbles (6 Ole Miss 3 Florida) and 11 turnovers overall in the game. If it wasn't a big play for a TD it was a big play for the defense. I think there were at least 5 defensive and/or special teams TDs.

Georgia started hot, but Auburn took control starting late in the first half. Went into half down 21-7, though WR Goodwin fumbled at the one going in, which was recovered by UGA.

WR Goodwin finished with 7 catches for 206 yards and one score, easily my best day ever for a WR in NCAA 11. He was wide open, had no trouble getting a step on DBs, and made two spectacular one-handed catches on the day.

Auburn moves to 6-4, so even with two user games remaining should make a bowl game.

Next up is Iron Bowl vs Alabama (JB) and then a meeting with Penn State and steelerfan.

FYI – My uncle has been diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. It is not looking good and he is only receiving hospice care at this point. They seem to think it’s a matter of days before he passes away. I will be traveling home for the funeral in the near future.

I will pack the PS3 but I may not be able to play my games (particularly my upcoming user v. user game with ryby as I am not sure how good my mother's internet connection is). If I am unable to keep up please feel free to keep on moving on as if I were present (and if necessary put me on auto pilot so that Ryby isn't a victim to the EA sim gods).

Coach CLW and his Gators exacted a small amount of revenge against Ryby's Canes. 5 Hurricane interceptions (although 1 was immediately fumbled right back to the Gators) were simply too much to overcome. Guillory made his case for the Heisman passing for 300+ yards and 2 touchdowns leading the Florida Gators to a perfect regular season.

Florida will now face Alabama in the :SEC: Championship.
