As OB stated in the other thread, pick 3 players from your team and give stats and an explanation why they deserve it. Afterwards, everyone will vote on 5 guys to be inducted into the Powerhouse HOF that will carry on each year when the new game comes out.

Alabama Crimson Tide:

1. John Gandy:CB- John came to Tuscaloosa as the top rated CB prospect that season. His first 3 seasons consisted of many highs and lows, but his senior campaign turned out to be one of the best in school history for a corner. He tied the teams single season interception record(11) his senior season and helped to lead a Tide defense that finished the season ranked #2 in the country. He completely shut down one side of the field each and every game, allowing for coaches to scheme against the rest of the offense without fear.

Career stats: 92solo tackles 14Tfl 5sacks 19int's 2FF's 4TD's and a safety.

2. Eddie Williams:WR- Eddie did not play much until the 2014 season, but once he got his chance he never relinquished his position. In his final 2 seasons, Williams averaged 53 catches and close to 950 yards receiving per season to go along with 10 TD's. He was someone that had to always be accounted for by the defense, and was still able to put up above average numbers in an offense that was designed to run the ball during much of his time with the Tide.

Career stats: 156receptions 2721yards 26TD's 14 drops

3.Thomas Shaw-DE- Thomas came to the Tide as a heralded OLB prospect but was move to DE as soon as he got on campus. He played sparingly his Freshman season, but earned at starting job before his Sophomore season and never looked back. He held down his RE position for the next 3 seasons, becoming a force not only against the pass, but in the run game as well.

Career stats: 50solo tackles 40asst 28Tfl 18sacks 3FF 3FR

The last two I thought were borderline at best, but I threw them in there just so I would have 3 players.

I'll decline to nominate anyone this season. Pender is close to deserving, but not quite up to par. I should have a couple guys next season that are worthy of a nomination.

:LSU:

TE Blake Hunter - 6'5'' 274

Blake Hunter came up huge in MANY user games....although his stats took a nosedive during his junior and senior year (due to the emergency of Jerry Rice's son Berry)....Blake continued to make plays despite being keyed upon on every 3rd down situation. He leaves LSU with 3 school records of most career receptions, receiving yards, and receiving TDs in a career and he's projected to be a 1st round pick.

2013 - True Fr (Mackey Award Winner)

70 rec
1439 yards
18 TD

2014 - So

52 rec
984 yards
7 TD

2015 - Jr

33 rec
611 yards
6 TD

2016 - Sr

34 rec
645 yards
8 TD

Career 2013-2016

189 receptions
3,679 yards
39 TD

I've only got two nominees this season and they are marginal, Overstreet would've looked much better if he hadn't missed 7 games in 2015.

Jalen Overstreet - QB

Overstreet has been the offensive catalyst for the Longhorns the past two seasons (both top five offenses) - his senior year, the only one where he played the entire season, he was a 73.3% passer with 2,020 yards and 20 touchdowns, he also added 1,053 yards and 23 touchdowns running the ball and finished third in the Heisman voting likely due to a poor showing in the season finale against Ohio State.

Career Stats:

QB Rating: 186.8
Completions: 215
Attempts: 307
Passing Yards: 3448
Passing Touchdowns: 33
Interceptions: 20
Completion %: 70

Rushing Attempts: 242
Rushing Yards: 1787
Yards per Rush: 7.4
Rushing TDs: 30
Longest Rush: 92

Cayleb Jones - WR

Jones was the go to receiver in the Longhorns passing attack for four seasons. His RSFr season he spent in the slot and amassed 1,029 yards and 13 touchdowns, numbers he didn't meet again due to the offense shifting focus more to the running game. His next three years he had steady seasons averaging 34 receptions, 563 yards and 4 touchdowns. Jones was a constant threat when needed and made spectacular plays when matched up one-on-one.

Career Stats:

Receptions: 141
Receiving Yards: 2,718
Yards per reception: 19.3
Receiving TDs: 25
Longest Reception: 96 yards
Yards after catch: 1004
YAC Avg: 7.1

QB Kevin Jones - recruiting class 2013
Jones was set to contribute significantly his freshman season but an early injury kept him sidelined. However, in 2014 he took over the team and made it his own despite having 3 different offensive coordinators during his time in Ann Arbor.

Career stats
QB Rating: 175.7
Comps/Atts: 519/779
Completion %: 66.6
Passing yards: 8207
Passing TDs: 74*
Interceptions: 42

Rushing attempts: 374
Rushing yards: 1727
Yards Per Carry: 4.6
Yards per game: 44.3
Rushing TDs: 30

*School record for passing TDs in a season with 30 in 2016.

MLB Karl Brown - recruiting class 2013
Coaches expected Brown to contribute early but for various reasons, but he never really broke into the lineup until his Junior year. As a result, his stats are a bit thin but his contributions for 2 years cannot go overlooked.

Career stats
Solo Tackles: 133
Assisted Tackles: 78
Total Tackles: 211
Tackles for loss: 64
Sacks: 14
Interceptions: 3
Defensive TDs: 1

Mikal Clemmons

Clemmons came to Columbus as the #2 OLB of the class and was the headliner of the Buckeyes class that year. Clemmons didnt contribute a whole lot his freshman year. Clemmons was moved to the middle his soph year and contributed for 3yrs in that position. Clemmons led the team in tackles his JR and Sr seasons and is a round 1 projection on Mel Kipers big board.

Tackles for Loss: 66
Sacks: 12
Interceptions: 10

Kyle Banks

Banks was the #4 FS coming out of High School and the #2 guy in the Buckeyes class that year. Much like Clemmons, Banks didnt contribute much his freshman year but became a 3 year starter and was solid his 3 years. Banks also served as a return man his freshman year.

Solo Tackles:134
Assisted Tackles: 119
Total Tackles: 253
Tackles for Loss: 21

I'm going to have to pass on nominating someone this year. I just don't think I've got one that is deserving of that high of praise. Heading forward though Oregon should be able to produce some candidates for the HOF.
