What's everyone's availability tonight?
ryby6969
01-20-2013, 08:00 AM
I will be in bed by 8pm est but as long as we start early enough won't need to recruit more than probably week 1.

I would actually need it to be later, like 8 or 9 CT. Monday night is free for me.
ryby6969

Doesn't really matter if the games do not get played today anyway. Kia said he could play after the playoff games tonight so it would be at least close to 10pm est tonight before he and Jeff plays. Monday will work for me also as long as it is not real late.(Like after 10est)

Agree with Ryby, there's not likely to be enough time to get much done tonight. I'm free Monday-Wednesday.

How is it my 89overall DE Dixon is a projected 1st round pick while my 92overall DE Shaw is projected to go undrafted?
I know that HBs have a specific height requirement and pretty sure OL have specific height/weight requirement to be drafted. For example, I know that a 5'9 HB will never be drafted. I would assume DL have a similar requirement.
ryby6969
01-21-2013, 07:16 PM
Same height and Dixon is only 7lbs heavier. :dunno:

You know me... I always love to slice & dice teams & ratings in different ways. Yet another new way. These are based on returning player rosters (ie no recruits since I can't see them on the rosters page) post-progression. I'll probably update once we get to preseason but thought I'd share what I have now. If you care to post OVR of any newly recruited players that will be starting, particularly Ks & Ps, then I can update these with that info.

How about a key that tells us what ratings the stars represent?
It's not really tied to a specific rating, rather there are 2 of each level so the top two QBs are 6-star, etc.
To maybe better answer your question, here are the actual averages for each position, etc. You'll see that several have a very low KP rating because they're missing either their kicker or punter.

How the hell did you get a 91OVR incoming player? Even JUCOs the highest I've ever seen was an 84 and that's a K.

Lol, he is my MLB. He will slide over to the weakside this season until Allen graduates next season. :D I did not want to position change him for possibly just 1 season.

Right, he's got a lot of 5- and 6-stars.
Also, those ratings are a little off for those of us that run a 3-4.

Yeah, I thought about polling for base defense and adjusting ratings based on that.

Yeah, 3-4, 3-3-5, or 4-2-5. I have went back to the 43 for now with some 34 mixed in. I will have to see how my Warren Sapp like DT plays to see if I will stick with the 43.

Which one do you want to go on the record with as your base offense? Have a better 3rd WR or 2nd TE?
ryby6969

I have a better 2nd TE but I use both about equal. If you have made it with 11 personnel then that is fine.

Yep... That was my problem a couple sessions ago. You can tell who you scored because they will have a 0 OVR rating.

Wow, I have no clue what just happened. Connected to the hotel wireless router, the same one that my Kindle Fire and laptop are connected to, and the PS3 just ... froze. Hard. More than once.
Had to boot into Safe Mode and Restore the Default Settings. Something like two hours later, I finally got into NCAA.
That was an experience.

I did a little too. But while I have 5 needs I should not have much pressure to fill though but some other positions I may just push some schools just for the fun of it this year.
After seeing the all freshman team and the all overall Oregon is in need of a change of direction. That change has started........Go Ducks!!
