What slider changes do you guys think are imperative?
I'm hesitant to make HUGE changes to the whole set (I want the game to stay true to itself so people can bounce back and forth between the league and general online play), but I am a believer that some aspects like CPU Run Blocking, CPU Run Ability, & CPU FG Accuracy need raised, while CPU FG Power needs lowered (just slightly).
We probably won't agree on a full fledged set, but hopefully we can reach a consensus on some solid tweaks to make the CPU a little more competitive.

i say put pass coverage to 40 cpu/human pass rush 45human 40 cpu and increase punt power to 65 everything else is cool to me

The most important thing to remember is that sliders affect HUM vs HUM games too. If, for example, we put HUM Run D to 20, both teams will have that setting in HUM vs HUM games and we may see crazy amounts of rushing yards. My feeling is to balance the changes so that you can use the set in HUM and CPU games. CPU definitely needs offensive help and I'm for dropping INT to 15-30 for both.

Hmm. You may be right. That'd be news to me.It's been widely speculated, but I haven't seen anyone with actual proof one way or the other. We considered lowering the sliders last year so Catching and Accuracy were both 0, but never went through with it.

The only request I have for slider tweaks is to make it difficult to kick field goals. EA's defaults are very unrealistic, IMO. It may not matter HUM v HUM games anyway but makes the CPU games a bit more...fun

The changes I made to your quote are what I'm using right now. I think the most important change I'd like to see is upping CPU Run Blocking (don't have to go to 75). The CPU can't run with anything close to 50, IMO.
As for penalties, I have them all at 100 except holding (50), Clipping (55) and facemask (55). Thoughts, guys?

i think pass coverage for cpu needs to drop down to at least 55 they are not responding to pump fakes jump way to many balls linebackers covering recievers all the way down field, meanwhile my cornerbacks gets lost and doesn't cover there zones and out of position
