Honestly, very little in that that screamed "had to be next gen" to me, other than the fact that you wouldn't likely release that game in time to be this generation.


WOW! The Walking Dead: The Video Game won Game of the Year. Definitely surprised me. Though the VGAs makes a lot of calls that I don't expect.

The top theory is that this is MGS V and that The Phantom Pain possibly refers to Snake suffering PTSD.

I've never played any MGS games, so I had no clue when I saw the trailer - though, I thought the main character looked like Solid Snake (or whatever his name is).

Except Ground Zeroes isn't a true, full fledged, 100% $60 MGS game, which is why it's only be marketed at $40 instead of $60.

Couple of reviewers completed main story line in under 2 hours. There's no way in hell I spend more than $20 for it.

SO after the game is out given a few weeks. I rented the demo game.. It's awesome! I can't wait for the Phantom Pain to come out. With those graphics in the game I was awwwwww.

It is a really good test to get back into the series and just awesome to watch the game play unfold and get use to the new controls and what not. MGS V has great potiental I can't wait for it. If ur a fan of the series rent this bad boy and enjoy it before next year winter or whenever the real game comes out.

Yeah getting great reviews but I have just never been into this series - and seeing how the series is likely dead after this one I'll probably just rent it.

With so little out there to play, I am going to give it a shot. Have not played a Metal Gear games since MG3 but the sandbox factor interests me along with managing the mother base. Plus most say it is a 50-100 hour game, which is just what I was looking for. It was either this or $40 for the Taken King and I am just burnt out on Destiny.

Played the Prologue yesterday and safe to say Hideo Kojima is still bat shit insane. The story, "so far" is still bat shit insane. The Fox Game Engine is bat shit insanely beautiful. Going to try a few missions tonight but this looks like it will be more enjoyable than expected.

Both games run 60fps but the PS4 is 1080P versus the XB1 running 900P.
