Put my list together. The 90s had lots of very solid flicks but IMHO the 80s seems to have either: (1) a much shorter "bench" or (2) just mega huge classics that put the rest of the decade to shame compared to the 90s which I believe has a much deeper rotation but doesn't have nearly as many ICONIC flcks as the 80s.
