with a new defensive coordinator hired today, USC will be back on top at the end of next season. stanfurd's and oregon's runs are over. plus, we'll be landing some mammoth defensive tackles on NSD. we'll sign like 3 of the top 10 defensive tackles.

Yeah, but you still can't count out Stanford. Even when USC was playing for national titles and Stanford was sucking their way to 3 or 4 wins, they still would manage to beat you guys every other year or so.

not really. we've lost 5 of the last 6, but before that, we had won 5 in a row. stanfurd will still be a good school, but they're starting to lose their toughness that harbaugh instilled in em.

They said the same thing when Bellotti moved on to AD and Chip Kelly got promoted from OC to HC. Oregon will be back in full force, and their offense will be similar but change just enough to keep everyone off balance.

Florida's DC goes to the Seachickens in the same position.

It is sounding like Atlanta Falcon QB coach, Glenn Thomas, could be the next OC at Oklahoma State. I don't really know much about him, but people seem to think he would be a good hire.

A four year quality control assistant, one year QB coach, turned OC? Ooookkkaaayyyy ...

That is kind of what I was thinking. However, I trust Gundy's judgement when it comes to hiring OCs.

i'll be sending in my resume for this next week sometime. hardest part is trying to explain my credentials, which are entirely video game based, and why i would be a good choice for the job.

:D :D :D

Sometimes, I wonder if I wouldn't be a better coach than some of these people. I mean, winning 10 games in 4 years is just atrocious. No team can possibly REALLY be that bad without a just abhorrent coaching job.

dewayne walker is actually a good coach. i just dont think he's HC material. he's a way better position coach/DC

Oklahoma State has named Mike Yurcich from Shippensburg University as their new OC. This hire is a head scratcher, but Gundy has done a really good job hiring OCs in the past. I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope he made another good decision.

Dan Hawkins will be out of the college game for while. He is the new head coach of the CFL's Montreal Alouettes (http://www.dailycamera.com/sports/ci_22591688/dan-hawkins-hired-head-coach-montreal-alouettes-canadian).
