Texas downs LSU 37-31 solidifying its spot as the #1 team in the nation. QB Jalen Overstreet powered the Texas offense going 12/18 for 267 yards and 3 touchdowns while adding 136 yards rushing on the ground. HB Johnathan Gray got player of the game honors while rushing for 41 yards on 15 carries but added a 75 yard touchdown reception early in the game.

The Texas defense held strong allowing 24 yards on 19 carries on the ground while forcing 4 interceptions, including the game clincher, and held the LSU quarterbacks to 19/31 passing for 309 yards and 2 touchdowns - Texas also added 3 sacks.

Next up the Longhorns face rival Baylor.

Great game as usual Papa, I'm sure we'll meet again next season in Baton Rouge.

Florida State stomps an overmatched Tennessee squad 55-10.

Quarterback, and Heisman candidate, Bryan Stephens rushes for 232 yards on only 9 carries before being sidelined with an injury late in the second half. Florida State rushes 40 times for 460 yards on the contest.
