We're at players leaving.

gschwendt
11-04-2012, 05:37 PM
I have no players leaving early but only two are projected for the draft... CB Countess in the 3rd & ROLB Ryan in the 5th. I can't believe MLB Morgan isn't projected at all despite leading my team in tackles and being a 92 OVR.

Texas was able to keep MJ McFarland from leaving, the freshman transfer probably would have been cut anyway.

All of it. Or Else.

Seriously though, I think most are finished with recruiting but I imagine Jeff & Jeff (dawg) probably both still need to recruit to rebuild their teams. I'm scouting some guys to see if I can find a random gem but nothing I need.

JeffHCross

Florida State was able to convince WR Kirk that a #1 receiver at FSU is not a #1 receiver at USC, so he stuck around Tallahassee. LOLB Avery decided to try his talents elsewhere -- I thought it was at Houston, but I may have flipped Kirk & Avery's destinations.

Keelin Smith will return for his senior season.

Avery is the one headed to USC.

Eh, good riddance. He'll be stuck down in their depth chart I'm sure.

( I think the "Playing Time" transfer doesn't use future playing time with enough weight. That's twice I've had a guy try to transfer who'd be a starter the next season. )

Really all we're waiting on is NYKia as Dawg won't be able to talk those playing time transfers back.

Ugg - I have a decision to make, I've got an athlete that has the following attributes:

Athletic Abilities
96 speed, 91 agility, 94 acceleration

Defensive Abilities
Pursuit 77, Play Recognition 82, Man Coverage 81, Zone Coverage 82, Press 76

Running Back Abilities
Break Tackle 64, Trucking 52, Elusiveness 87, Stiff Arm 53, Spin Move 84, Juke Move 86, Carrying 85

He'd make a heck of a cornerback and running back. I'm short at Running Back, but I like having athletes just like this in my defensive backfield.

ryby6969
11-04-2012, 07:40 PM
He would suck for a few seasons at DB until those ratings went up. I have a CB(Gandy) who has better athletic stats then that with high 80's in coverage ratings he is constantly getting beat. Maybe it is just my secondary though! :D

Yeah boy, losing 3 SR LBs this year I'll take him

IMO, ELU only matters if they have BTK or TRK to compliment it. ELU better be 90+ in order for it to really matter if it doesn't have other attributes.

Major find as come to find out this guy is a Tight End! With Funchess being a senior, it's a huge signing for the future as I always love having a second TE as a receiving tight end. Oneback gave the approval so blame him if you don't like it :)

Bama is done with position changes. Damn my team is young. Only have 6 seniors on the roster. I am worried about my oline and linebackers. Have to fix the Dumster fire I called an offense from last season.

I have a few changes to make along my offensive and defensive lines but that shouldn't take me too long...I'll probably be home a little later than normal based on the way today has started.

I have 10 total seniors but only 7 are on the 2-deep.

I have 9....depending on progression....I'll likely start

Seniors: RB2, WR1, FB, LT, C, LE, NT, CB1

Juniors: TE1, CB2

Sophomores: QB, RB1, TE2, LG, RG, RT, RE, WLB, MLB1, SLB, CB3, FS, SS

Freshmen: WR2, MLB2

6 of those sophomores started last year as redshirt freshmen (QB, LG, RG, RT, RE, WLB, SS)....hoping to get some +7 progression out of those guys.

Those would be Redshirt Freshman or True Sophomores... really not a whole lot to go on with those guys anyway. That and since it's limited to 70 man rosters, the default rosters will always be upper-classmen heavy since they know more about them.

Another year with only two 90+ players and one of them will be buried on the depth chart at HB. On the plus side, nearly every starter is 84+ OVR.

What I mean is I brought in Fresh the first two season's that were still better then the Fresh were rated on the original roster as Soph. Perfect example is Yeldon. He is just barely rated above Bell who was a True Fresh last season and is a True Soph and Yeldon is a RS Junior this season. Cooper(WR) is a RSJR and is buried on my depth chart at like #5 or 6.

Note to self, don't change your coach's philosophy from a 3-3-5 to a 4-2-5 (for practice mode) and then not change it back before the offseason. Because of that, I got saddled with a 40OVR JR DT because they think I now run the 4-2-5 and therefore need 4 DTs. And I can't cut him :glare:

Why do they feel the need to add people if I didn't offer them?I personally think it's an unpatched bug. There's no way that was intentional.
