Pace is a player that any number of programs around the country would love to add to their roster, however he chose Akron because they're right in his backyard. With excellent strength, acceleration, run blocking and impact blocking, he'll make an excellent interior lineman at either Center or Right Guard depending upon need. Needless to say, expect Pace to contribute if not start as a true Freshman.

Chase is another excellent addition to the offensive line for Akron. However, while Pace is a run blocker, Chase is a perfect blindside Tackle and is expected to start there as a true Freshman.

Two really nice pulls G, nicely done. They'll fit in nicely and I'm sure may even contribute early.

As a balanced blocker, Kelly will make an ideal center for the Akron line. While his talents are a bit raw, he'll still have a solid chance to compete for the starting job.

Harris is a good athlete with great size and raw talent. While his skills aren't fully developed, he comes in with room to grow into any position the Zips wanted to put him in. With his speed and size and ability to bring down the ball carrier, he'll transition to the Predator Safety and be used to blitz the QB. He will most likely redshirt as a freshman so that he can have more time to develop as a substitute for Parks.

Boyd was a key signing for the Zips allowing the Wolverines to consider him for several positions. While the CB position is sewn up for the next several years, added depth is needed. However, Boyd could also find himself as a Coverage Safety, though his tackling ability is still a bit underwhelming for that position. Look for him to redshirt at CB or possibly contribute his first year, most likely as a returnman or possibly in a Wildcat role.

William Perry Jr. is not quite the refrigerator stature that his dad was. He learned from him and manages his weight much better, however, that doesn't mean he doesn't have his dad's tenacity. With excellent strength, he'll be ready to contribute his first year, though likely won't find a starting role until his second or third year.

Leierer and his family moved to Ohio from Scotland his Junior year in high school. As a result, he's only had two years playing organized football so he still has a ways to go in terms of learning the game. That said, his speed and strength make him a valuable signing as a Linebacker. With quite a bit of depth ahead of him, Leierer will redshirt his first year allowing him time to develop and learn the game.

Williams is a nice signing for the defensive line that was already going to be thin at the End position. With two established starters returning for next season, Williams isn't expected to start, however he will be prepared to contribute as a backup.
