View Full Version : Has the defense been dumbed down in NCAA 13?

I played a lot of online ranked games this past summer in NCAA 13 and my defense was excellent. Now every game I play my opponent can't stop me and I can't stop them. I understand that offenses will be better as the game ages because people will realize what plays, routes, and schemes work and what doesn't. However, my opponents' offensive schemes don't seem to be the issue. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like a lot of routes that didn't get open in August get open on a regular basis. Which is why I'm asking if EA dumbed down the defense after a patch or tuning update?

Of course they did. Defense has been dumbed down since NCAA 09. & I have a theory on that, which I'll post once I have time.

I was wondering of I was the only one who thought that. I'm still winning most of my games. I just like a more defensive oriented game a lot more than a shoot out.

It sounds to me like HitStick is saying that it's dumbed down in general. I don't know if he's specifically meaning that it's been dumbed down since the patches have been released.
