I know there are plenty of things people have said are strange with this years version of NCAA, but I just had some strange stuff happen to me and was wondering if anyone else sees these same things?
I'm Northwestern playing Syracuse in my OD. AA with OS sliders. For the most part our games are always really close and seem realistic.
Well I'm behind and trying to force 'cus to a 3 and out. The CPU (Syracuse) runs a toss play to the right I'm controlling the MLB so I go after the HB, my CB and SS both drop back, as the HB rounds the corner both the CB and SS keep running backwards, then they face their bodies down field but turn around and look at the HB as they basically run ahead of him, almost like they are clearing the way. I was like what the HELL are you doing, so I switch to the CB and as soon as I change to him he stops dead in his tracks giving the HB enough of a space to get by, all the while the SS just running down field, basically looking like he's trying to lead the TD train for the HB. How does this happen?
The 2nd thing that has happened to me and it's been in a few games is I will a nice long pass usually a nice out route and my WR will catch the ball with nothing but endzone to go, as soon as I press the L2 button for sprint he dives on the ground, almost like I pressed the square instead. This has happened about 3-4 times in various games and each time it does I'm left scratching my head, and usually cussing. Does this happen to anyone else?
I've also had a problem w/ the L2 button when running with my HB, as I run through the LOS I usually press the L2 once I'm free of the blockers trying to bust into the secondary, however sometimes when I press the L2 the HB will jump/hurdle like if I pressed the triangle.
I know both of these L2 button issues could maybe sound like I'm having finger farts but believe me I'm NOT pressing the square or triangle and I'm not drinking beer while playing so I'm really lost as to how this happens.
I lost the game to Syracuse but it was my fault in the end, way too many INTs. :bang:
I just don't really understand the logic or lack of...when my CB and SS are running down the field instead of coming up to make the tackle. I also don't comprehend the L2 dive on the ground/hurdle stuff.
