New Mexico knocks off CSU 42-32 to move to 5-6 on the year and one step closer to bowl eligibility. If the Lobos can beat Idaho next week in their season finale they would clinch their first bowl birth since 2007. It should be a crazy environment at Branch Field as this young New Mexico squad has come on strong these last few weeks after starting the year 1-4.

Akron takes down Toledo 38-35. The Zips needed a last minute interception and it came from CB Seth Cunningham in the endzone with 40 seconds remaining. After that, the Zips were able to kneel out the rest of the clock and take home their 7th win of the season. Next week Akron faces Western Michigan though due to other teams not holding up their end of the bargain, they'll only be able to play for second place in the conference unless Memphis manages to lose their final two games of the season.

This was surely a season where I thought I'd win the championship but after some key losses it just wasn't meant to be.

Really really can't wait for bowl season to hopefully go out on a good strong note, and then attack the offseason with some of these recruits.
