Season 2?

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d34/texacotea/HunterHaynes.jpg

Haynes fills a need in this class and is a good one. Being from OH he wanted to be a buckeye and didnt waste anytime, he committed on the spot when offered. Haynes is shifty and has good strength and good blocking skills. The staff is excited to start the year with this kid

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d34/texacotea/TreyRobinson.jpg
Trey also fills a void that was needed in this class, he is very good at reading the play and a solid tackler. Robinson may have a chance to compete once he gets on campus.

G
When Michigan coaches first saw him, they knew that he would turn out to be special. The fact that he signed the first week that coaches were able to talk to him spoke volumes on how much he wanted to play for the Wolverines. With one senior starter leaving after this season, Guard was a position of need and Hunt is about as good as they come. Look for him to be a backup his first year on campus but don't expect that to last very long.

:Michigan:
WR
Pittman signed without even much interest shown towards him. Michigan coaches set aside 10 minutes of their day and casually said "hey, want to come play for us" and he jumped at the opportunity. As a result, the Wolverines don't know him quite as well as they'd like, but from what they see, they believe he could become a nice signing. With the depth at WR (7 returning next season), expect Pittman to redshirt allowing him an extra year to develop.

K
With Kicker being the only true need for the Wolverines, they went after Washington hoping the hometown kid would sign. He did in fact, jumping at the opportunity to play for the Maize 'n Blue. He'll start next season at kicker.

USC adds 2 early on.

McCray is someone the Trojans are very excited about although he is a little bit of a mystery since they only had a little bit of tape on him. Hopefully after some camps they will be better able to evaluate him. But as it stands right now, expect Phillip to take a redshirt his 1st year and should see him making an impact in his Junior year.

http://img.tapatalk.com/473a455f-94d3-00c6.jpg

Adam is actually another mystery to the Trojans as they didn't get to watch too much tape on him. But from what they did see and his eagerness to come to USC was a good match. With Bo Williams committing last year, expect Adam to redshirt this year and will see some time in the backfield after that.

Oregon lands 3 commits to start the year

http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt52/psusnoop/rsz_2013_anthony_harris.png

Anthony committing early really helps the staff out. With the need to upgrading the offensive line this year the staff needs talent and depth. Anthony will add both. He also will not RS next season and will more then likely be #2 at LG.

http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt52/psusnoop/rsz_2013_nick_crosby.png

Nick will start next year. While he doesn't have a huge leg he is consistent and the staff wasted little time on extending an offer to Nick who jumped at the chance to play for Oregon.

http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt52/psusnoop/rsz_2013_david_chambers.png

With last years class giving Oregon 3 OLB's and 2 MLB's the staff didn't really need or feel the need to go after lb'rs but David expressed a very high interest in coming to Eugene. The staff offered David and he leaped at the chance. Expect David to RS next season.

What's bad is if I don't sign 1 this year I lose Oregon as a Pipeline. While not a hotbed for talent, I gotta grab someone at some point. There are a few decent ones that I'm targeting but geez didn't realize my numbers were that bad for Oregon.

Thanks for the tip. Might have to swoop in and grab some talent since the home town Ducks don't want them :)

Bama gets off to a hot start and adds 3 to start the season.

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/Bell-Bama13.png

Bells looks to come in a add to the list of recent Bama HB's to dominate the SEC. He is more explosive than most of the backs from the past, which will give the SEC defense's something to think about for years to come.

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/White-Bama13.png

White comes in looking like he will either play WR or QB. It will depend on what the rest of the season brings as far as recruits, but he has the physical skills needed to play either position.

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/Stallings-Bama13.png

Mr. Stallings comes in at a position the Bama coaches are looking to create depth. He comes in with very polished pass rush moves for a High School player, and a motor that does not quite. He will join two of the top recruits at that position from last season to form what could be a dominant line for years to come.

USC picks up 2 this week

John comes in and looks like he will fit right in on the defensive line. However the coaches are really excited to get him onto campus and see what he can do on the offensive line as well even though he doesn't have quite the burst they would like. Apparently he used to play offensive tackle in Jr. High but his Varsity team was so deep on the Oline he has seen primary duties on defensive as he just loves to hit people. John will more than likely take a redshirt year to figure out which side of the ball he is the most comfortable on.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m521/psuexv/2013%20PH%20Recruits/JohnHawkins.jpg

Dwayne is a bit of a mystery as he is kind of unknown coming out of North Dakota. He has shown a lot of interest in USC and a number of other big name programs as he feels he can definitely compete at the elite level and jumped at the chance to play for the Trojans.

CB
Carter is a stud corner before he even steps on the field. With his abilities and the departure of at least one, possibly two players next season, look for him to get immediate playing time and possibly start depending on how other players develop. With great speed, acceleration, & coverage abilities, he really does not have a hole in his game. This was a big signing for the Wolverines stealing him away from Ohio State making sure he stays near home.

:Michigan:
:Notre_Dame:
DT
McBride is another player that steps on campus with skills that make him ready to play. While his strength and weight still need some development, his Power Moves and Block Shedding will make him a monster. With the Wolverines expected to be solid at DT next season so look for McBride to likely redshirt but afterwards will see lots of playing time.

ROLB
Lane is an excellent rush linebacker which will fit perfectly into Michigan's 3-3-5 defense as a ROLB. With his speed, acceleration, strength, tackling abilities, and line moves, it will be very hard to keep Lane off the field as a true Freshman.

FB
HB
Melton is a big bruising runningback in High School and will expect to continue to do that at the next level. Michigan hopes that he has blocking skills that he can develop to become the full time Fullback as the Wolverines have an opening there next season. If not, Melton will be hard pressed to find as much playing time unless his speed is better than Scout.com reviewed him as.

Texas lands their first recruit of the season:

http://i.imgur.com/f9b4X.png

If you are looking for speed and explosiveness on the perimeter, Morse performs at a premium level. Tall, lean and lengthy but has plenty of pop on his tightly wound frame. Quick twitched athlete who plays bigger and thrives on contact. This is a physical DB who plays with an edge and at times a reckless style that could be more under control. Smooth yet explosive in transition coming out of pedal. Shows very strong plant and drive burst coming out of breaks and jumping underneath routes. Locks down in tight coverage as well. Flashes great upper-body strength and very strong hands. Displays quick footwork and fluid hips mirroring receivers off the line while stabbing with his hands. Excels at rerouting and jamming receivers off the line. More adept in tight coverage but shows he can open, turn and run without losing much in transition. Has great makeup speed to receiver when caught out of position. May be at his best in zone schemes where he can read the quarterback and play ball to man. Does a good job mid-pointing high-low routes and jumping the hot route with very good anticipation and explosion. Quick to support perimeter run and pass. Closes strong limiting RAC with strong open field tackling. Destroys the stalk block and sets the edge on run support. Better pursuing straight on than laterally where his angles can off but he has the speed to recover at the high school level. May benefit from playing more under control and balanced in space. Does show some hip tension at times playing off-man coverage. Safety is a possibility as well.

QB

HB
Dean is the definition of an Athlete. Coming out of Kentucky, all of his friends and family wanted him to play basketball but he said he wanted to be a Wolverine. With great speed, good throwing abilities and great coverage abilities, it will be hard for the Michigan coaching staff to figure out where he'll find his home going forward. Had CB Junior Carter not signed then Michigan the decision would have been made so as a result, Dean will likely find playing time at Quarterback. With the departure of Gardner after this season and the frailness of Kevin Jones, Dean will get his shot and could even force Jones to move to WR depending on his development as a QB.

USC adds a much needed CB. Kris comes in and could possibly see a lot of action right away with 3 CBs graduating this year. Cornerback was a big focus for the Trojans and Kris will fit right in. Not only does he have impressive coverage skills his ability to read a play is what really separates him.

Mike Harris comes to Oregon and helps to shore up some depth at the Tackle position. Mike will redshirt his first season here in Eugene. Mike has that tough gritty attitude that you love to have with players in the trenches.

http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt52/psusnoop/rsz_2013_tim_johnson.png

Tim was really someone that staff was unsure of at first. He doesn't have great speed or burst but he that toughness and knowledge of the game that can't be taught. Tim will likely redshirt and gain some valuable time with the scout team his first season. The staff is excited to see what he can do once he gets on campus though.

http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt52/psusnoop/rsz_2013_justin_arnold.png

Justin is an interesting ath, he could really play either CB or WR. The staff will most likely look to see him at the CB. He has a great first step and see the field really well. He also wasn't afraid to come up and make a tackle in the camps he has been to.

http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt52/psusnoop/rsz_2013_isaac_wheeler.png

With Isaac, the staff will have him at CB. He doesn't play the run particularly well but he is a heck of a cover corner. He has great instincts and loves to be play on an island. The staff may have a hard time redshirting Isaac but he will have a heck of a challenge getting a starting spot with the CB's that may return for their senior seasons.

Bama adds 4 more to what is shaping up to be an amazing class:

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/Johnson-Bama2.png
Johnson is yet another lineman that Coach Davis is continuing to stockpile. With the depth the coaching staff has built, Johnson will have a few years to develop and will then be ready to step in and become an All-American.

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/Washington-Bama2.png
Washington was a major find as it gave the coaching staff the ability to focus more attention on other recruits because he was so under the radar. He comes in with similar abilities to top DE prospect Stallings, and the two should form a dynamic duo for years to come.

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/Parham-Bama2.png
Parham is an amazing athlete and was one of the main priorities for Coach Davis and staff going into the recruiting season. He comes in at 6'4" and 254lbs, but has speed and coverage skills comparable to some of the top DB's in the nation.

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/Hooper-Bama2.png

Hooper will more than likely move to SS, where his speed and tackling abilities will definitely be a huge asset to the Tide's defense next season. If he was just 20 lbs heavier, he could have possibly been the #1 LB coming out instead of the #1FS.

At 6'7, McAfee will be a monster in against passes and with his tackling ability, he'll be a force against the run. While he comes in a bit raw with his actual coverage abilities, the Michigan coaches plan to redshirt him his first year, then work one on one with him over the course of his career. Look for him to have a bright future.

Even with technical difficulties and USC looked like utter crap in their 3rd showing against Michigan we do pull in 2 recruits.

Marcus may be able to add a new wrinkle to the USC lineup as he comes in with good speed and elusiveness at the QB position. He needs to work on his accuracy though if he expects to see any significant playing time, especially after the Barkley incidents of last year.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m521/psuexv/2013%20PH%20Recruits/MarcusSmith.jpg

Prince may be the recruit the Trojans were looking to get their hands on the most. Although his speed was a little less than initially expected he has solid all around coverage skills and shows that he can wrap up. Summer workouts and preseason camp will really determine which of the many incoming freshman see time right away at corner.

I meant to say you do not get the same point jump this year as in years past. There have been multiple guys I have had in for visits and should have had them commit only for them not to. In years past, they would have committed. Like Parham for example, in past versions OB would have stole him from me because he had the visit.

USC pulls in 4 and continues to add to its defense

Bryan comes in a little shorter that the staff would like but is all over the field and dominated in his senior year of high school. He shows a great ability to get off of the block and once he gets his hands on the ball carrier they are going down. If the depth chart stays the same, Bryan should be able to redshirt and could be a starter in 2 years.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m521/psuexv/2013%20PH%20Recruits/BryanBrown.jpg

Andy is the half cousin of Bryan Brown and felt like he wanted to play with his cousin in college. Just like Bryan, he wraps up well and can really track down the ball carrier. He will definitely redshirt and work on some coverage skills but will definitely be able to contribute during his college career.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m521/psuexv/2013%20PH%20Recruits/AndyBrown.jpg

Reggie is a little bit of a mystery as the staff needs to evaluate him a little further. More than likely he will start his career in the secondary and at 6-3 could be a very valuable asset.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m521/psuexv/2013%20PH%20Recruits/ReggieLandry.jpg

Add Emanuel to the list of.... I'm that good I can pretty much play anywhere. He has shown great raw talent in the passing game and has the speed to be a dual threat type of guy. He also shows the potential to be a shut down corner and at 6-4, teamed up with the 6-3 Reggie Landry the secondary in LA in a couple of years could really be something special

Pollard had an offer from Alabama but they quickly realized he had no interest in playing for them so they backed off. Paul is a nice signing for the Wolverines to give them a rush end that still has decent strength. With good speed, tackling ability, and decent line moves, Paul will develop into a fine player. Expect him to redshirt in order to develop more. As an added bonus, the Wolverines wanted to sign him to strengthen their pipeline into Florida.

I like Stallings' pursuit ability but my DL has to have STR and neither of yours have enough. Pollard at least has something to start with.

USC adds another during their calls.

Roy comes in to add depth to the WR corp and really impressed the USC coaches in some of his workouts. Roy has good speed and a great burst and runs good crisp routes for a speedy wide receiver. Roy is hoping to enroll at USC early and be able to workout with Robert Woods in the spring.

Thanks to a free version of iAtHome (SnagIt's free trial ended for me :()....:LSU: has signed 7 recruits so far this season....here they are....

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v160/daddy2002/ATHJeremyDavis.png

Offer from Mississippi State and early interest from Arkansas....Jeremy Davis will provide excellent depth behind current freshman QBs Hall & Hodges. Davis will redshirt providing the Tigers a junior, redshirt sophomore, and redshirt freshman at QB in 2015.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v160/daddy2002/CBCraigRobinson.png

Offers from Texas & Florida State....Robinson will provide Coach Shirlee with his preferred CB....6'0''+, fast, and can man up on the outside with no problem.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v160/daddy2002/DEJeffJackson.png

Offers from Utah & Texas? Coach Shirlee has noticed that he has had to rely on the 2nd string defensive line a ton in user games so a full fleet of a 2nd team 4 man line that could start almost anywhere in the country will be a plus.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v160/daddy2002/DETerrenceJones.png

Offer from Texas A&M....see Jeff Jackson. Jones is a DE who will NOT allow a Power O to his side to go smoothly.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v160/daddy2002/DTShawnCooper.png

Offers from Texas & Miami....Cooper is an explosive athlete from the DT position....will provide the Tigers with pass rush up in the middle for years to come.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v160/daddy2002/SSCaseyHarris.png

Harris is recovering from a torn ACL while playing 7 on 7 during the summer....but when healthy....he's a guy who always seemed to be around the ball....WRs make sure to know where he is when going across the middle....and he uses his size well when making a play on the ball. With a redshirt....Harris should be a nice piece in the Tiger secondary.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v160/daddy2002/TETrevorMay.png

May is another huge target at TE for the Tigers....Coach Shirlee loves his TEs and May along with current LSU freshman Blake Hunter should make life easy for QB Sheldon Hall in the future.

What can we say, the Wolverines attract athletic QBs. Coleman is no exception with great speed and acceleration and surprisingly nice throwing accuracy. Added that his coverage abilities (89MCV, 84ZCV) make him a true athlete that could find playing time at DB as well. Look for him and Bryan Dean to compete for the starting job in the spring allowing current backup QB Kevin Jones to slide over to WR and be a nice threat there. No matter who wins the job though, The Wolverines will be solid at the QB position for years to come.

So I was sitting at my console with Oneback advanced so I decided to just do my recruiting there. I go in, scout a couple players before scouting Coleman (above). It completed the scouting only it was locked up as soon as finished. That's how I know what his coverage abilities are, though they're no longer unlocked on the console nor the web.

Lesson learned... don't recruit/scout from the console when the web has been working excellent this year.

Texas' signs 5 this week so I figure its a good time to get caught up on this recruiting class:

http://i.imgur.com/pyg1y.png

Berg is a kid that gives flashes of being a disruptive and productive defender. He has good size and on film looks like a well put together kid with a frame that could support more good size as he continues to physically develop. He flashes the ability to explode off the ball, but does need to work to be more consistent. He can give flashes of being tough to handle when taking on blockers. He flashes the ability to bring his hands and press a blocker off of him. He can step and derive good power from his lower body and snap a blocker back. When he does this he can hold his ground and play the ball. He can though tend to play high almost like he is peeking for the ball instead of just playing and letting his ability work for him. He can pop up and expose his chest and let blockers get into him. He can get active with his hands, but not initially shoot them and while he stays active and can work off the block eventually he can give ground when he does this and it will be tougher to play get off of blocks at the next level if he does not consistently keep his pads down and protect himself. He displays a good motor and solid speed in pursuit for his size. He wraps up as a tackler, but can attack high and struggle a bit to finish and bring ball carriers down. As a pass rusher he does a good job of getting his hands up and batting down balls on quick short passes. On more deeper drops he flashes the ability to work to the shoulder and sink a rip and turn the corner. He needs to be sure to stay active with his weapons. Berg can be an active kid that can cause some problems. While he can be a tough and disruptive defender at times he can also be his own worst enemy at others. He needs to be more consistent in his play and fix what are some correctable things so he can maximize his ability and be as productive as he is capable of.

http://i.imgur.com/ZY8M8.png

Wade possesses the playing strength and explosion necessary to dominate as a run blocker. Has the size and athleticism for the offensive tackle position at the major level of competition. As a defensive end we see good initial quickness and change of direction ability; gets good push as a pass rusher showing upper body playing strength and quick hands. We see an athlete with very good flexibility, balance and agility, capable of changing direction while playing on his feet in space; playing out of a three point stance this prospect comes off the ball low and hard with good initial quickness and explosion when drive blocking. Demonstrates good fit and pad level on contact showing the playing strength to knock defenders off the line of scrimmage; is able to sustain due to his good blocking base and excellent leg drive; displays the ability to roll his hips and get underneath opponents pads and back on their heels. Does a very good job in space; can pull and trap, showing the ability to locate defenders on the move; gets out in front of quick screens and is an effective downfield blocker. This player has the athleticism necessary to reach and gain leverage on offset down linemen while demonstrating the ability to consistently getting a hat on active 1st and 2nd level defenders. With some added body mass we feel this lineman has the tools necessary to make all the required run blocks at the next level. His long arms, quick hands and nimble feet should be assets in pass protection; sets quickly, demonstrating the ability to bend and slide to the deep set point. Flashes good initial punch however all aspects of hand use will need refinement. This guy is a tough customer who finishes blocks with the nasty attitude we like to see when evaluating offensive linemen. If Wade can add bulk to his frame prior to entering the collegiate ranks, early playing timed is a possibility unless a red shirt year is deemed necessary.

http://i.imgur.com/H2fAS.png

Clemons relishes hitting and punishes opponents over and over. He is a physical presence who loves contact, almost to a fault at times. He's a big defensive end who is flirting with defensive tackle size. He's tough against the run. He's quick off the ball and comes out of his stance low to get under defenders' pads pretty consistently. He can shoot his hands and creates good power from his lower body. Can stand up a blocker and put him on his heels. He's able to shed and get in on plays, but he sometimes lowers his shoulder, loses his hands and tries to smack blockers instead of quickly punching and shedding. Can dominate his man, but sometimes at the expense of getting to the ball. Shows good lateral movement and solid short-area change-of-direction skills. Displays solid speed for a player with his bulk. Has a good motor, and he's a physical and sometimes punishing tackler. Flashes the ability to get off the ball and upfield as a pass rusher. Can dip his shoulder and quickly turn the corner or bull rush effectively. Will be most effective against the run in college, but he flashes enough as a pass rusher to have potential. Could take some reps at defensive tackle in passing situations, exploiting matchup opportunities and making the most of his quickness. Coming off a knee injury, and he lacked outstanding speed before he was hurt. But Clemons is a very good prospect who, when healthy, ranks among the best defenders in the class of 2013.

http://i.imgur.com/Alx2Z.png

Robinson's game has very few discernible physical or fundamental flaws. His natural athleticism and coverage skills are excellent and extremely rare for a defensive back with his large frame. He has great height and a long, rangy body that should fill out nicely while allowing him to maintain his current speed and quickness. Has a smooth pedal and transitions extremely quickly in and out when turning and running or closing on the ball. Has great footwork and quickness. Shows very flexible hips and smooth turns for his size. Well-versed and excels in a variety of coverages. Can mirror without allowing separation in man-to-man, shadowing receivers out of their breaks. Can ride a receiver's hip on vertical routes while demonstrating proper hand placement and soundly playing the ball. Uses his long arms to effectively jam and slow receivers off the line in press coverage, and flashes great recovery speed. Has excellent physical skills and a strong understanding of zone concepts. Covers a lot of ground, expertly reads quarterbacks, matches patterns, innately anticipates throws and flashes great burst to undercut and jump routes. Excels at using his long frame and athleticism to separate the ball from the receiver. Tracks the deep throw well, showing a second gear to break under the ball. Has outstanding hands and ball skills. Shows good closing speed and aggressiveness in run support, and isn't just a finesse cover corner. Diagnoses the run quickly, fills hard and makes strong, reliable open-field tackles. Chases and strings out plays to the sideline while effectively using his size and deceptive strength to fight off the stalk block and get over trash. Could be more consistent in using proper bend and sink in his pedal to assist his transitional quickness and plant-and-drive skills, but his natural fluidity is exceptional for his size. Robinson offers safety size and physicality with excellent cover corner skills. He should be an immediate impact player with exciting scheme versatility at the next level.

http://i.imgur.com/e52fD.png

Ham possesses the upper body playing strength to dominate as a run blocker once contact is made. Has the size and athleticism for the offensive tackle position at the major level of competition; care must be taken to manage his present weight before adding additional body mass. Playing out of both a two and three point stance we detect some lower body stiffness however this doesn't limit his ability to play on his feet in space; demonstrates the balance to adjust his feet and handle quick change of direction movement. Has strong hands which allows him to control and maneuver defenders on contact; flashes the explosive surge needed to knock defenders off the ball but there is the need to lower his pad level coming off the ball; doesn't roll the hips but is able to sustain due to his base, balance and leg drive. Flashes the quickness needed to reach on offset defensive linemen; is quick releasing to linebackers; demonstrates the ability to consistently get a hat on active 1st and 2nd level defenders; shows pull trap ability and should be able to make all the run blocks at the next level. This guy finishes with the nasty effort we look for when evaluating offensive linemen. His long arms and nimble feet should be assets in pass protection; demonstrates short set quickness with good side to side movement; can stay in front of rushers and get out of trouble in space; plays too tall at times and will need to improve his ability to slide to the deep set point. Has the ability to clamp and control rushers however all areas of hand use will need refinement. Ham does not appear to be an immediate starter at the BCS level of play. Some time and a red-shirt year may be necessary to polish his skills.

http://i.imgur.com/nU62n.png

Peters is a developmental size prospect with the athleticism for the offensive tackle position at the major level of competition; flashes the explosion and playing strength to control defenders once contact is made. His frame appears capable of supporting additional body mass over time. Lining up in a three point stance we see the flexibility, agility and balance needed to play on his feet in space; demonstrates tight box mobility while flashing the agility needed to adjust his feet to quick change of direction movement. Comes off the ball aggressively but with inconsistent pad level; needs to improve his ability to explode and knock defenders off the ball; flashes the initial quickness and persistent leg drive needed to gain and sustain an immediate advantage when drive blocking. Although his run blocking technique needs polish, we see the athleticism to reach for leverage and get hat on active 1st and 2nd level defenders. With added bulk and improved playing strength, this lineman should have the necessary skills to make all the run blocks at the next level. His long arms and nimble feet will be assets in pass protection; flashes the ability set quickly but must improve his base and balance; plays too straight legged at times; must develop a stronger initial punch while improving location and extension; flashes the ability to recover and get out of trouble. This is a tough guy who finishes with a nasty effort. Peters will need time and perhaps a red shirt year to polish his technical skills before competing for starting time at the BCS level of play.

http://i.imgur.com/xvYfb.png

Stanley has an outstanding blend of size, speed and quickness. He has rare athleticism for a 235-pound middle linebacker. Has a prototype build for a Division I inside linebacker prospect, with great height, bulk and long limbs to pack on additional muscle. Gets a great forward jump on the ball and is explosive filling downhill. His ability to run through the cutoff block with power or slip it with deceptive lateral quickness separates him from other great linebacker prospects. He's very difficult to block in traffic and loses little speed or power when sifting laterally. Game seems to slow down for him. Brings a solid base with square shoulders and great power to the point of attack, but he's far more than just a short-range run plugger. For a thick linebacker, he flashes good change-of-direction quickness and smooth hips when pursuing in space. Turns and chases down ball carriers to the sideline with good angles and speed. Shows strong tackling skills, soundly wrapping up and driving through ball carriers with great force. A fierce hitter and great blitzer. He's a complete linebacker, possessing good hips, turns and athleticism in coverage. His pad level will be a problem at the next level. Can get upright, expose his body to the cutoff block and struggle to escape quickly enough once he's engaged. Needs to work on getting to his coverage drops quicker and on reading his keys against both the run and pass. Takes too many false steps that are masked by his redirection quickness. Stanley is ready to make an instant impact for a college program, and he has the build to continue developing physically through a weight-training program. He's a future college stud.

http://i.imgur.com/Z0r9T.png

Carter is a versatile, smooth and fluid player with big play ability regardless of where he lines up. Has played as a defensive back, tailback, slot and outside receiver with homerun ability as a kick returner. Has very good height on an ideal frame at receiver. Still needs to add some strength, but has plenty of room to do so. Is lean and lanky. Plays with very good game speed, consistently runs by and away from defenders. Has good initial quickness off the line, excellent change-of-direction skills for a high cut athlete. Can stop and start, gets to top speed deceptively quick. Multiple position player that has a good feel for the game. Shows patience and burst as a runner. Knows when to use his speed and when to throttle. Shows good toughness in the return game. Runs hard through arm tackles and attacks the football in traffic. Long arms and soft hands allow him to catch the ball easily outside the framework of his body. Shows natural catching ability. Raw route runner that is currently a vertical threat. Smooth, deceptive speed eats up defenders on go/post/seam concepts. Displays a burst to gain separation from defenders. Could develop into an ideal outside route runner. Shows excellent balance and body control, keeps his feet and gains extra yards after contact. Carter is a big play receiver after the catch; a playmaker with the ball in his hands. Displays good size and toughness to be an adequate blocker at the next level when he adds more strength. Shows college ready kick and punt return ability. Great high school athlete that plays multiple positions and is a high level BCS prospect.

http://i.imgur.com/wS1cJ.png

In terms of pure size and acceleration, there might not be a more impressive looking outside linebacker than Chase in this class. Prototypical 3-4 outside linebacker with his long frame, good pass-rushing skills and experience playing up on the line of scrimmage. This guy may be a bit raw at times and a 'tweener from a positional standpoint (OLB/DE) but he can blow up the perimeter run or make plays pursuing sideline-to-sideline. Has great height and wide frame that is well-defined but still has room for good physical development. Plays the game with an intense motor and shows great chase speed from the backside. Good vertical attacker with his long body, great initial burst and deceptively good bend. Turns and changes direction without a lot of wasted motion for his tall frame. Takes direct angles to the ball. Closes strong and is very solid tackler; breaks down well in the openfield for his size as well. Uses hands to shed and keep blockers off his body well as an outside rusher Shows great speed on outside run support; difficult to outflank. Flashes the fluidity to slip under the cutoff when pursuing through traffic. However, we question his reactive athleticism at times. Needs to work on getting a quicker jump off the ball and attacking the outside half of the blocker when employed at end, susceptible to getting reached. At times lets blockers reach him at the 2nd level when employed at normal linebacker depth. A bit raw in his reads and fundamentals but can mask it at the high school level with his superior strength and physicality. Needs to make sure he is conscious of his leverage when trying to squeeze the run inside. Shows some stiffness in space as well when he plays without good knee bend. Overall, we feel Chase will polish up his technique and diagnosing skills when he concentrates on one position at the next level. You can't coach his great size and explosiveness or the high energy he plays the game with. Great prospect with a ton of versatility. Could line up at linebacker and put his hand down and rush the passer on 3rd downs.

USC adds 2 more and pretty much wraps up their recruiting for the season.

Brent came in with a lot of hype as the #1 SS overall but fell off a little bit as the staff was able to evaluate him more. The staff feels he can still be a valuable asset to the secondary but will take a couple of years to fine tune his skills.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m521/psuexv/2013%20PH%20Recruits/BrentSeward.jpg

Roy was an under the radar type of player and coming out of Hawaii it makes sense. He had dreams of playing at schools like Texas, LSU and Bama but the only team that showed interest was the Trojans. Roy has a great burst off of the line and gets to top speed quickly. To counter his speed he also seems to cut on a dime as he runs really good routes. He will redshirt with some of the other depth at WR and work on some of his other skills and add a little bit to his game.

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/Clark-Bama2.png

Clark steps in looking to be apart of what could be a stellar offensive line in 2-3 years with how hard the coaching staff has recruited the positions. Clark shows the speed and quickness needed to play inside at the D1 level and coaches think he will battle for significant playing time by his RS Soph season.

Johnson is not any kind of stud but the Wolverines needed to find a backup plan in case their current ATH signing, Melton, didn't work out at the FB position. Johnson comes in with solid blocking abilities though will rarely (never?) be asked to carry the ball. Depending on Melton, Johnson could come in and find the field right away, though the FB is a limited role in the Michigan offense so his playing time would be sparse. An added bonus is that by signing him, it opens the door as a pipeline into Kentucky for future recruits.

Love is a dual threat guy, his speed and accuracy is what intrigued the staff to pursue Love. He makes good reads and can make all the throws needed. The upside to Love is that he can fill in at WR also. Love will be used in certian packages just to make sure he has the ball in his hands.

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/Schroeder-Bama2.png
Ryan comes in with the skills to try and compete for playing time at a stacked QB position that could get more competition once the coaching staff determines where the ATH's signed will best help the team.

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/BBennett-Bama2.png
Brett Bennett comes in as a very polished receiver as a high school senior. He runs good routes and has good speed for a kid his size. It is still unknown if he will redshirt or compete for playing time his freshman season.

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/DBennett-Bama2.png

Derron comes in as the last lineman in the class and boy is he a good one. He is extremely quick off the ball and has the speed to chase QB and RB's down from behind. He has an impressive set of pass rush moves for a high school player, and has some nice pop to his tackles. He needs to bulk up and improve his upper body strength, but the coaching staff is confident he will.

Childs is a wonderful signing for the Wolverines as he gives them an excellent change-of-pace HB for their backfield next season. With his quick speed, nice agility and acceleration, his elusiveness, and his ability to juke a defender out of his jock strap, Childs should be able to produce a lot of yards in years to come. He was a late find for the Michigan coaches as they sort of stumbled upon him with low expectations only to be blown away by his abilities.

Chavez was a late add by the coaching staff and surprised the staff with his tough running. He is not spectacular at any one thing, but does everything well. He will look to be thunder to Bell's lightning in the near future.

http://i908.photobucket.com/albums/ac286/ryby6969/Stone-Bama2.png

Stone is an interesting story, as if he were a few inches taller he would have been in the conversation as one of the top LB's in the country. He has an incredible first step, as well as the speed to play sideline to sideline. When he gets to the ball carrier, he knows how to deliver a pop. He pursues to the ball as well as anyone in the class, and can also hold his own in pass coverage.

Oregon lands a 4 more recruits.

http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt52/psusnoop/rsz_2013_alonzo_green.png
Alonzo comes into Eugene in a position of need. At DT the staff is trying to bolster and have spent some quality time trying to find prospects interested in Oregon. It has been an uphill battle but the staff now feels secure for a few years with last years class and this one. Alonzo is not very big for a DT, but the staff just isn't sure his speed and acceleration is enough to play End in college. In High School he was able to get away with it but that won't happen in College. Look for Alonzo to RS his first year on Campus.

http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt52/psusnoop/rsz_2013_jake_thompson.png
Jake at 6'1" 230lbs could come in as a HB or FB for Oregon. The staff though is secure with where they are with the HB's (having signed 2 really good prospects this season) that they are hoping they can convince Jake that FB will get him more playing time on the field. The staff has shown Jake that he will get a few touches a game and will see the field in some Ace formations and all the I'Form's as well.

Kyle along with Tim will be competing big time come Spring ball. Oregon has signed 2 bruising HB's in this class which has surprised many out there considering the thought has been they were looking for a speedy shifty HB. The staff though feels good with these two HB's and look forward to seeing what they can do on the field.

Sam all but shores up the WR spot for the Ducks given that last season the Ducks signed 4 last season. With 3 taking a RS, 1 playing along with 2 other RS FR this WR corp will be the youngest in the nation next season. Sam will have plenty of chances to come in and compete and with hands like this it will be hard for the staff to sit Sam next season.

Here you go Jeff. :PDamn! Thanks, ryby. They need a lot of help in the secondary, but otherwise that's a lot more impressive than I expected. A lot of my top targets are there, minus the secondary guys. Of course, the CPU didn't do it quite like I planned, but there's no way they would have known my plan :D

TE?
OL?
Who knows where this guy ends up playing. He doesn't have the weight to play OL but we're unsure about his other abilities in order to play TE. He was mostly a player to throw time at... since he's a 4-star, he's got to fit in somewhere, right? :dunno:

I was recruiting him too hard because I really wanted to see where he fits in. I hope I remember to ask you where he is at during position changes Sunday night. :D

Also I have no clue either where he fits in.

Here is a little more information on him, I had him targeted as a blocking tight end.

Yeah, I had him pegged as a blocking TE as well but with that speed, it would be hard to find him much playing time there. I was hoping he'd have really high blocking ability but since he's a 69OVR, I don't know how much chance he'll have to contribute before he's a SR.

:LSU: adds 4 recruits who have been 100% scouted so far....

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v160/daddy2002/TEArthurMason.png

Coach Shirlee has been struggling to find WRs due to playing style so he has loaded up on TEs....Mason is a guy who can split out wide in some formations giving the Tigers 3 very good TEs on the field at the same time. Arthur also has the ability to be an H-back/fullback in some formations with his ability to make guys miss. QB Sheldon Young will definitely have some huge targets in the next upcoming years.

Another quality offensive lineman for the Tigers....priority #1 for Coach Shirlee is to continue beefing up the offensive and defensive line. Price's explosiveness should definitely help the LSU running game.

See Matt Price....Bryant will slide over to guard or center to take advantage of his superior athleticism for an offensive lineman.

Joseph Sowell is a nice prospect. His route-running ability is 2nd to none on campus in Baton Rouge....he's gives great effort in run blocking....once he participates in the Papa LoneStar BSF offseason program for a few years....watch out for Mr. Sowell in a 3-4 years.
