1700 receiving yards for Norwood. Did Bama use anybody else on offense? Wish there was a milking emoticon ;)

It is actually 1900+ after the Title game. ;) When your QB throws for almost 4,900 yards, someone is going to have a good year.

I can't front....I milked it with my TE once he was announced as a finalist. I'm hoping the award gives him a +7 since he was a true freshmen. I have 2 more freshmen coming in that I like and I would like to redshirt one of 'em. I plan on having 2-3 TEs on the field at all times....even split out at wideout.

I'm sorry to say it is so....since I've been in a long Powerhouse national championship drought....I have to go for awards to make myself feel better.

That's revisionist history at best, and straight out lie at worst. You've always spammed the stats. I remember your WRs at SMU ....

2014
Heisman: Jameill Showers, Texas A&M. 141/235 for 2588 yards passing; 163 carries for 1314 yards rushing; and 45 total TDs

Maxwell: Showers, A&M
Walter Camp: Showers, A&M
Bednarik: Thomas Allen, MLB, Alabama
Nagurski: Lamar Dawson, MLB, USC

O'Brien: Braxton Miller (whoo-hoo!), THE Ohio State University
Walker: Keith Marshall, Georgia
Outland: Dominic Espinosa, Texas
Rimington: Espinosa, Texas
Lombardi: Joe Thompson, A&M
Best LB: Nicholas Jones, A&M (three different MLBs win awards?)
Thorpe: Deshazor Everett, A&M
Groza: Brian Washington, Michigan
Guy: Marcus Jackson, Michigan
Best Ret: Terrence McGee, LSU

(Side note: The Outland/Rimington trophies make no sense whatsoever. Wonder if they changed the formula to account for the fact that User games don't have as many pancakes? Or it's just messed up.)

National Champion
Texas (def Louisville 38-10)

First-team All-Americans:
QB: Miller, Ohio St.
HB: Marshall, Georgia
OL: Espinosa, Texas
OL: Cedric Ogbuehi, A&M
OL: John Cochran, Texas

DL: Jermauria Rasco, LSU
DL: Thompson, A&M
DL: Ivan Robinson, A&M
LB: Jones, A&M
LB: Hayes Pullard, USC
CB: Tre' Sullivan, LSU
FS: Howard Matthews, A&M
SS: Everett, A&M
K: Washington, Michigan
P: Jackson, Michigan
RET: Magee, LSU

The Bednarik and Nagurski winners, Allen from Bama and Dawson from USC, don't even manage 2nd team All-Conference, let alone All-American honors ... what?

FWIW, I have never written (3x winner), as far as I can recall. And both your guys have a chance at 4x.

Oregon is looking to rebound after 2 mediocre years, this should be the year to get back to winning though recruiting problems on the O-Line may hamper that process.

Not according to my records. Hicks won three different awards, twice each, but no single award three times.

Kellen Green on the 2013 FR All Overall Where Are They Now is actually Alex Voelzke who is on the 2015 All Overall Team. I changed the names of a lot of my first two classes recruits to guys on the team IRL that they left off of the game. Sorry I didn't notice that before now. I believe he was an 86 overall in 2014.

JeffHCross

Sorry I didn't notice that before now.G is going to hunt you down and kill you in your sleep. Be wary.

Papa LoneStar

I didn't change the name of my starting kicker and G has him as a DT at Georgia....lol....I wouldn't dream of nitpicking with him about it though.

Papa LoneStar
12-14-2012, 05:45 PM
I've been pretty lucky changing the names of my guys....I do them in preseason and they always show up on G (Da Man)'s posts.

Terrell didn't deserve the Heisman (finished #2), so I'm okay with that, but I think those mid-season bye weeks completely shafted me on the awards. Not to say he deserved to win either, but he isn't even in competition because of the "semi-finalist"/"finalist" method used in-game. I think it was the Camp award that he finished tenth.

Papa LoneStar

I feel like I had 2 offensive linemen get shafted....my LT had 19 pancakes and 2 sacks allowed....my RG had 19 pancakes and 5 sacks allowed....the LT was a senior....hopefully the RG gets rewarded in 2017.

JeffHCross
01-21-2013, 09:42 PM
The OL, both awards and AA, is completely messed up, IMO.

Actually Jeff, this is only his second 1st Team AA. His rFR season he won the Bednarik but was not above more than a Freshman AA that season.

I feel like I had 2 offensive linemen get shafted....my LT had 19 pancakes and 2 sacks allowed....my RG had 19 pancakes and 5 sacks allowed....the LT was a senior....hopefully the RG gets rewarded in 2017.

Outland: Aaron Moore, LSU (wins with 6 pancakes and 4 sacks. 2nd place has 1 of each. #4 has no pancakes and 7 sacks. :D :D :D :smh:)

My RG got rewarded for his junior year....:D

Nice way to cap a career for a 4 year starter....future 1st round pick....guaranteed.

Bold denotes a coach that signed a new contract in the offseason

The new contracts don't have the expected Job Security, so I'm going to wait until next season starts to see if it resets itself (I think it will).
