See post #6 below.
Nevermind all the stuff from this original post. I put it in spoiler tags to hide it.
Guys I need your help. Below are some sliders I'd like you to setup and test in an offline test dynasty either with your teams or whoever you want to play with. Report here with thoughts good and bad and feel free to be as specific as possible to help me tweak them to fit us best. In the end the user and CPU sliders may not be the same but that's alright, will probably need to make the CPU a little better anyway.

All in all I think the first game with these sliders went well. The running game was realistic if there was a hole to hit the running back hit the correct hole.
The passing game was realistic there were dink and dunk plays with occasional deep ball attempts. I would line up in a formation on 3rd and 6 or 7 and hot route
one of my receivers to a go route and to my surprise he didn't always just lob it deep. More often than not he checked down to an intermediate route or shorter.
To make a long story short I think it played great with lots of variety in the animations and game play. The game lacked the staleness that most AA and Heisman
sliders seem to cause. How many times have you come to the line of scrimmage to see that you have the defense out flanked and wide open for the toss sweep
only to have a CPU controlled LB bust threw to destroy a play that should have at least went for 5 to 8 yards. Well that didn't happen in this game. If the play was
set up correctly both teams executed. Nothing cheep just solid football. I coached high school football and played college ball that doesn't make me an expert at
programming video games but I do know how real football should be executed. I have posted some of the stats from the game. But we can only get a good core set
of sliders if we stick to one and test it over and over again.

well...I destroyed a much better Ark State team with those sliders...Started the game again and got same results. Maybe it was just a fluke. For the record..I like the current sliders we are using but agree that the run game needs to be tweaked a little.

My second game with Coach Kernzy's original set was an exciting game from start to finish. It featured my defending national champion Florida State Seminoles against their rivals the Miami Hurricanes.
The Nole's were ranked #1 coming in. The Miami Hurricanes took the opening kickoff back for a TD. They did it with realistic blocking coming right at the point of attack. Late in the fourth quarter Miami
also recovered an on-sides kick. FSU ran the ball extremely well but it wasn't the CPU looking out of whack but instead my backs actually ran with purpose. The animations were consistent with how a
productive run would be blocked. The running backs also made necessary and realistic cuts and jukes without any wasted movement. The passing game was pure. When given time QB's hit their targets and sometimes
they even missed. Regardless of the end result everything that happened and all the stats generated in the game seemed very true to college football. Now keep in mind I am not trying to sell this set of sliders
I'm just giving my honest opinion. The CPU even had it's share of big plays. In the end I just want to win or lose and have it look and feel like it was more about strategy and execution rather than feeling cheated
or the victim of an over powering AI or, to see the CPU lose because of a dumb AI. Here is the box score for both teams.

Good stuff BOSSMO X, thanks man.
After yet another ridiculous game on Heisman last night I've decided to begin a very methodical approach to finding our slider sweet spot.
I am going to begin testing the following setup in an offline test dynasty and just tweak them as I go until I believe them to be good. Feel free to take this same approach if you'd like to help out.
Varsity
9 Min qtrs
Normal speed
50 Threshold
All HUM sliders at 0 except for kicking all 50
All CPU sliders at 100 except for kicking all 50
I will adjust and tweak as often as I see fit throughout the games until I find that coach mode slider holy grail.
The kicking stuff we can fine tune later, those are the least of my worries.
Varsity is by far the smoothest looking and feeling that NCAA can get in my opinion. Now what I/we have to do is find the sliders on Varsity that allow the CPU to win games they should and for us to lose games we should the majority of the time.
I will try to post my results, thoughts, changes as I go along and it'd be great if you all did the same. Sorry for backtracking and changing the testing method but this is the only way I see to do it in the most methodical manner possible to achieve the best result for coach moders everywhere.

Thanks Coach Kernzy but before you start you might want to save yourself some time by employing Versuz's method. Remember that video you posted. Instead of starting from 0 you might want to start with something like
USER 30 and CPU 70. Believe it or not I actually tried this and found that it was extremely difficult but realistic. The only reason that I didn't continue was because Heisman had me frustrated with the AI all together.

I kind of even think that 30/70 was too radical. The balance was to much in the CPU's favor which made it feel like Heisman at times.
I think that I might try something like 40/60. Because I tell you man that varsity 30/70 was brutal lol.

Yeah I do remember that stuff but I'm leaving no room for me to miss anything by starting with 0 and 100.
I know some aspects will be brutal to begin with but others may be damn close.
It might be painful but I've got to do it for my own satisfaction and to get it done right.
