I only play online against my buddy in our nightly "darby". We use D or C teams. So far I'm 11-2. I beat him the other night with UMASS when he had a C+ team and it gave me 2 underdog points. I went from a level 1 to a level 4 in one night. I laughed the next time we played, told him I don't think I can play these "level 1 guys" anymore.

We just meet up in the lobby so we can play ranked games vs each other. He plays more users other than me so his record is not simply 2-11 I think he's something like 9-15. When we play it's usually a TD or less separating us, good times!

We also use headset so we can chat about football in general. We both Usher at the TEXAS AGGIE games so we're excited for the season to start (See signature for COUNT DOWN, GIG 'EM AGGIES!)

I'm 2-3. Beat a kid who was BYU 21-14 in double OT. It was a play now and a great game. I was UConn as usual. My other win was last Saturday. I picked UConn and this random guy acted like he wanted the Ohio Bobcats, then switched to Oklahoma at the last minute, lol. I was up 3-0 in the 2nd but picked him off 4 times and he quit. He was 27-16, and a pretty good player but had horrible red zone offense. No chance I would have beat him if he hadn't quit.

Of my 5 random games, only one guy was a true cheesy douchebag. Go figure

Another reason why I refuse to play online. The fucktards who quit in the second or third quarter because they fall 10+ points behind. I'm not pissing away my time on an online game only to have some fucktard douchebag quit halfway through. I've never had the CPU quit the game on me halfway through because I was winning by 10+.

Now 2-0. Another unranked match. I figure the glitchers are all about their e-peen so unranked matches would give me people who just wanna play for fun. Up 21-0 going into halftime. Guy quits at halftime. I finish the game vs. the cpu. The only reason I finish these games vs. the computer is because I want to get my 250 Season Showdown points.

Best part about these wins. I used Southern Miss both times and beat TCU and Georgia.

Just finished another game and I think I'm retiring from online games. This time, Southern Miss vs. Wisconsin (seriously, does ANYONE play with a mid-major). With him picking Wisconsin, I'm thinking he's going to constantly run it down my throat. Nope. 4-wide no-huddle from the jump. Not only that, he's not keen on punting either as he goes for it on 4th down from his own 27. He fails and I get the ball. Could only muster a field goal. His next possession, he's Outkast again as he's dropping bombs over Baghdad. Connects on one and it gives him good field position to eventually throw a TD pass. 7-3 Wisconsin. His defense holds me and I punt. He drives and scores and goes up 14-3. I get the ball back and start marching down the field, eventually scoring a TD, making it 14-9. I go for 2 and make it so he's up 14-11. His next possession, I sack him on first down. He calls hurry up and and as soon as his receivers are lined up, he snaps the ball and throws a pick. I return it to the 18. He quits WHEN HE'S WINNING!

Wow.. Same thing happen to me earlier. I played the number one guy 2 weeks ago. Same exact thing happen to me. He threw a hail mary with 1 second left beat me. I was sick as well.

It's not because we want to. I can play on Heisman with a garbage team and still destroy the best team in the game when playing against the CPU. When I was playing against the CPU for the "win by 35 on Heisman" achievement, I was using Navy so I could get the one for handing off to the FB on a triple option play, too. I was against Oregon and it was something like a 59-7 final. If you can't get any enjoyment out of playing the CPU, there's not much other choice than to play online.

...and for the record, none of the next generation games have been fun enough for me to play more than 30 online games on. I think I played 10 this year and I'm already done with it. It's just not nearly good enough for me to invest that much time in. Now on PS2, I had no problem logging 300+ games every year. BUT...that game didn't have the devastating and glaring problems that '07-'13 have had this generation.
