I am leading on about 12 recruits, but man after promises are done, I'm getting only about +75 on some calls. I feel like I'm hanging by a thread :D

I have many times I have pitched something in a call only to have a +6 or +9 come up. Now that hurts

I have three studs that I would love to sign... they would change the face of this team. Right now though they all want to go to Ohio State but thankfully so far they haven't been offered a scholarship. If I can sign a couple of them, then I'll be in great shape.

I'm looking okay on some :4star: guys. And they came to Memphis and witnessed a good game.

Yeah, but by you losing, you automatically get like a C or D grade for their visit.

No none were interested. Memphis is a bigger program than Texas State so I'd imagine your school pitches were a little better rated.
I figured not to waste any time with putting any 4 star recruits on my board. Plus I'm out after year 1 should a better offer come along lol

UAB signs their first prospect of the year at a position of need.

Nope they weren't :D
I had two decent pitches (Playing Time & Proximity to Home) the rest were D's, but I have noticed Playing Style has gone up to a C- for a MLB I'm going after. That definitely changed throughout the season already.

Hampton is a perfect Guard with ability to be a pulling blocker in the run game or hold a pass-rush at bay. The Zips lose two key cogs on the Offensive Line giving Hampton a chance to compete for a starting role early.

Hadley is a very important signing for the Akron as they look to transition from a 4-3 defense into a 4-2-5 or 3-3-5 defense in the coming years. With his excellent speed and coverage abilities, he'll be able to cover just about anyone on the field while also having the skills to make plays against a run game. Look for him to immediately start in the Zips' defense.

WR
At 6'5, Love will be a force in the passing game for Akron being able to sky over the typically shorter defenders. While his catching abilities are a bit raw, he'll have time to develop them with all starters returning at WR however is also in a position to compete for a starting position.

Parks is a big signing for the Zips on their way to a 3-3-5 or 4-2-5 defense. Parks is a speedster that can make the big tackle and will be a monster coming off the edge in a blitz. Look for him to compete as a true freshman and likely start on his way to a memorable career.

MLB
Aside from his tackling abilities, Garrison is an excellent linebacker. Expect him to redshirt or backup his freshman year but after that he'll be an all-around great LB.

While OT wasn't a big need, it's always good to have big O-Lineman that you can develop. Woods is the perfect size and starts off with good abilities that can be developed. He'll likely redshirt his freshman year though may compete for backup time depending on the remainder of the class.

After a season under my belt I definitely plan on attacking recruiting differently next year. I now realize that I set my sights way to low initially.
