We really blew the game, we put up 422 yards of offense and still lost the damn game.We would have easily had over 550 yards of offense but penaltys and turnovers wrecked it. We had 8 penalties for 70 yards, the worst thing is that most of these penaltys were on 10 yard runs and 20 yard passes that got called back because of holding. The turnovers are what really ruined it for us though, our QB Shaun Rutherford threw 3 interceptions and fumbled the ball twice losing both to the defense.

It was our game to win and we threw it out the door, we were given every opportunity possibly and still lost the game.
Discipline is begining to be a problem.

Wow that was a tough one to swallow Colin. But even if you guys led for most of the game Texas Tech coming back to beat Texas State is not an upset.Texas State actually raised some eyebrows with their performance. I know it was a lost but you guys have a lot to build on. Conference play should be fun for your squad.
