This may help you from freezing. I read on a post that if you start a second dynasty but keep you old one saved,do not delete it.the game will not freeze. I was a season and a half into the game but was freezing up a lot.
I decided to try this and I have not froze sense playing in my second dynasty two seasons in. I also watch all the replays and updates so that I'm not rushing the game or over loading it. Not pushing the A button immediately.
I don't know if this will work for everyone, but figured I'd share what has worked for me. Hopefully this will help some people.
Also have game downloaded to hard drive.
