I used the same 3-4 pitches every recruit haha. If those don't work then I'm screwed.

And I believe there is a "proximity to home" bug so that will likely always be good

Remember though that these grades can fluctuate throughout the season... particularly Playing Style. If you really want that HB that has Most for playing style, you better feed your current HB the rock at every opportunity.

Akron, OH - It took nearly every bit of 60 minutes for The Zips just to challenge in-state opponent Bowling Green but the overtime period proved in the end who wanted it more.

With just thirteen seconds remaining on the game clock, Akron HB Broderick Alexander ran in for the final touchdown of regulation, tying the score at 17 apiece. Alexander's touchdown run was the cap of a four minute drive that The Zips desperately needed in order to send it into overtime. From there, the Akron defense stepped up to create a huge turnover on BGSU's opening series of overtime. DT James Price broke through the Falcons' offensive line to get to the QB and force the fumble. After that and a couple of runs later by HB Jawon Chisholm, Kicker AJ Fox nailed his second FG of the day to clinch victory.

While no one wants to look at the negatives after a victory, coach Gschwend certainly will have to evaluate the play of his QB after today's game. Clayton Moore gave away three separate fumbles on the day, two of which lead directly to points. Backup QB Patrick Nicely performed well in his time on the field going 5/6 for 49 yards creating a stir in the media as to whether there should be a QB controversy. Next week, Akron hosts Tulane which should be a battle and they'll need their leader to be ready, no matter who that is.

The only bright spot in the game. A last second TD by Wr A. Hill for 51 yards

West Point Thru a sack party for the Minutemann of UMass. Offensive Coordinator Bjrod was fustrated and in disbelief.After the game our correspondent JBHuskers tried to get a word in with the coach.
JB-"Coach can i get a word about todays game?".
Coach bjrod9- " Son, I know you have a job to do,but you got some nerve.This is the worst offensive production from any team i have been apart of.We will use the bye week to re-shuffle our Offensive line and find some wide receivers that aren't afraid to catch the ball.We tried to establish a running game,but our running backs can't manage to suck it up and hang in there.We obviously will get back to basics and try to shock the world against Virginia Tech. I hope thats what you wanted to hear,now talk to me when we win a game and look productive."

Its going to be a long year at New Mexico. We gave up two kickoff returns and numerous other big plays in a 51-38 loss to UNLV. Maybe I should have taken the head coaching job instead of OC because they obviously need the help. :D

Damn, won but lost my QB for 2 weeks and the FREAKING dropped passes almost cost me a controller. I had 8 of them and that was with user catching exclusively after about the 4th. :D

Texas State dominates Nevada in Reno, 28-9.

Steven Rutherford threw for 4 TD's on 11-22 passing. He also ran for 58 yards on 10 carries.

WR I. Battle caught 2 TD passes leading the way.

1st full game playing with this team and still discovering the players around the field. Defense is definitely there. Offense will be even better once I get a hold of this Offense we're running

I had 10 drops :fp: but I was able to easily handle Western Kentucky 26-7. I didn't give up an offensive TD at all and the defense played a really sound game all the way around.

WR Isaiah Battle on his 2nd TD

Starting Right

Texas State wins decisively against Nevada in season opener. 28-9.

QB Steven Rutherford lead the way with 4 TD passes on 11-22 with 221 yards. He also would chip in 58 yards on the ground on 10 carries.

Junior WR Isaiah Battle lead the way in receiving with 5 receptions, 146 yards and 2 TD's. His 1st TD went for 79 yards. Also adding to the mix was Sophmore WR Andy Erickson with 1 reception for 44 yards and a TD.

On the Defensive side of the ball, MLB Joplo Bartu lead all defenders with 5 tackles, he would also pitch in a sack. The man who caused havoc was Senior DE Jarrett Haywood, with 4 tackles and 3 sacks. The Secondary played very well having a few interception opportunities but was unable to hold on to any of them.

Next week Texas State travels to Fort Worth to take on #17 ranked TCU.

Sorry man, I know a lot last year you left recruiting time left so I assumed it was the same for this week.

My assumption for everyone is if you've played your game and used any recruiting time and let it sit that way for a long time, then you're likely ready to advance and will let the cpu finish your recruiting time.

That said, going forward, if you play your game and know you won't be able to recruit for a long time (particularly overnight), drop a note to say so, especially when just about all games are played.
