Super Sim would be useful (yes, as opposed to useless) if the time that comes off the clock reflected the quarter length you're using. I use 9-minute quarters. If I SS'd the scond half of a game, I'd get an entire game's worth of stats for that 1 half. That alone makes SS a complete waste for me.

The problem with SS isn't that it doesn't use the 9 minute quarters (it does). The problem is that too many plays happen in that amount of time. If memory serves, there's absolutely no clock run-off for calling plays or substitutions. You'd actually lose time running a no huddle, since players have to get to the line. :D
