If we missed something in the previous month's thread, post again here. Feedback can be anything, ranging from smilies to new content idea, etc. Feel free to PM if you don't want to post an idea publicly.

Is it possible to change the default page of "Advanced Search" from "Multiple Content Types" to "Single Content Type"? I didn't even realize what was going on until recently, and I think the majority would be using Single Content Type. I hadn't even actually used Advanced Search until this week because it wasn't giving me options that were available in other searches within the forums. It's the difference between "Single" and "Multiple" that caused the discrepancy.

Is it possible to customize the "subscription expiration" notice? If so, it'd probably be good to include the date of expiration.

Why is it that we occasionally have a blog created for what looks like a random post? Are people somehow creating blogs while posting, and doing it accidentally? If you look at the list of current blog entries, several of them don't look like they were intentional.

We need our little grill icons next to the forums back..

I just wanted to say that in the face of the horrible tragedy of DariusLock I have been amazed by all of the truly good people who frequent this website. All of kind words for DariusLock and his family as well as a willingness from many to help out financially... this world is screwed up a lot of the time but the vast majority of people on here AND the owners/moderators are truly good people and I am proud to be associated with you all. You guys are all class acts IMO!

Yep, just cleared mine and the grill is back :up:

However, I've now lost iGoogle :smh: It doesn't have the option to automatically open it when I open search :(

No, they didn't shut it down. They just set a sundown date for next November. Which sucks because I've used it for at least the past 5 years.True. But what they did do is remove, as Eric said, the ability to use it as www.google.com (if you were signed in) AND removed it as a link on google.com.

Alright, ever since that database error that popped up an hour or two ago, things are really bad now. Every single post I have made tonight since the site came back up and online, they have all timed out, and only by exiting out of the thread a certain way, have I been able to avoid double posting in every one of those threads.

Seeing lots of random double posts around the board. I've enabled our Double Post checker. If you try to make the same post with in a minute, it will prevent it from happening. Not sure exactly what you'll see but let me know if you guys have any feedback.

As well, I'm going to look into what is causing them but this should at least be a temporary solution.

That's what I've been assuming. I still get that message on a regular basis, maybe every 5 or 10 posts, but I just back out when I get that message to avoid double posting.
