SBCOL NCAA13 - Head Coach vs Coordinators

For starting SBCOL, what are your opinions? What do you want to start the Dynasty as? Vote & comment.

I voted for Head Coach. I think starting off with teams as bad as this, it would be really tough to become a head coach before 14 comes out. Truthfully, until they tweak CC, I think it is better suited for small OD's(maybe 6 players max) that advance very quick, or for offline dynasty.

Yeah I'm curious as well. I would still like to start as a coordinator if allowed. I just like the concept of having to start at the bottom of the barrel.

Skip, as far as moving up the ladder, each season will have restrictions. Last season, the highest job you were allowed to take was at an 84OVR team and a 3-star or less. You are allowed to progress your team beyond that on your own though. That will probably vary during Season 1 and throughout the seasons depending on how the rest of the teams stack up. The essential idea behind this is I don't want someone stuck at 60OVR FAU while you have a 90OVR FSU.

Wouldn't believe how much time I spend putting together schemes and what not.

No... we'll always stay in the SBC and/or CUSA and the like. This year should be somewhat better in doing that because dynamic conference prestige, however the one drawback is that the bowl tie-ins are still locked.

No. You'll be able to accept jobs offered to you in the coaching carousel and then after the carousel, I'll adjust the conferences so that we all remain in whatever two conferences we start with (we'll start with 2 conferences of 9-10 teams).
