Team Builder online dynasty Heisman race problem/bad AI, glitch?

I never noticed it before but a guy in my dynasty said its always been like this.

My team has only 1 loss and my QB is 1000 passing yards better than anyone else. But is not in the Heisman race at all?

He said they seem to give QBs the shaft with what ever logic is in the game. Can/will that be changed ?

It's been like that forever. Players who should have never been in the Heisman race win the Heisman, while players with better stats end up left off the list. Teambuilder, regular team, Online Dynasty, offline dynasty, it doesn't matter.
