Darius, Papa mentioned to me that he really needs to get the game in against him tomorrow night. Hopefully you can respond to this either tonight or in the morning, otherwise I'll forward your number to him so you guys can set it up.

Ryby looks like we're up already. Looking forward to it. I'm free anytime tomorrow after like 2 pm CT and I think we're staying home Friday night so same timeframe. Saturday is tricky because of mother's day. I think my wife has us busy all day with her family. Just let me know what works for you.

We can get it out of the way tomorrow. I am off all day, so I should be able to get on if the baby will let me in the afternoon. Otherwise, I am free tomorrow night.

If he distracts you in the fourth quarter of a close game giving me the win then I may have to send you a thank you toy to give him. :D

Horrible way to start the season as newly minted head coach... went from going to the championship in back to back seasons to losing my first two conference games. In both, I had a significant lead only to give up turnovers on back to back drives.

Great game snoop.

Thanks G, yes those two possessions certainly changed the landscape of our game. Up 21-10 and looking to score again I was able to get a huge fumble return for 6 and then got another break when your TE basically dropped the ball into my DB's hands to end your next drive.

My kicker was clutch, coming up with fg's of 56,55,46 with the 46yd fg being a last second game winning kick. 30-28 final.

Army manages a come from behind 26-21, victory over a very tough Rutgers squad. After getting slammed all over the place by Rutgers bruising running back Lance Cunningham in the first half and being down 14-10 at the break, the Black Knights defense managed to man up and hold him in check somewhat until late in the 4th quarter.

Army took a 20-14 lead in the third quarter but Rutgers put together a long, backbreaking drive in the 4th that looked to seal the victory for them when they went up 21-20 with a little under three minutes to go.

Army got luck on the following drive though and saw their TE pull in a 3rd pass that looked like he reached through a defender and then raced downfield for a 30 yard gain. 2 plays later Army's QB saw a Rutgers CB fall down at the line of scrimmage and rifled a pass to an open receiver that caught it and got down to the one yard line. Army punched in the game winning score on third down after two huge stops by the Rutgers defense that had the Army head coach pulling his hair out.

Despite the loss, I would have to say that Cunningham for Rutgers was the player of the game. He rushed for 173 yards on the afternoon and two touchdowns. The senior was impossible to tackle early on in the game and both of his long touchdowns featured numerous broken tackles.

ETA: I believe he was injured in the third quarter and I am not sure if he ever returned however because I just noticed the last Rutgers TD was scored by the backup RB? That may have been the difference in the game if that is true because I couldn't tackle him at all in the first half.

Great game ryby! Looking forward to the rematch.

You also man. Yeah, he got hurt on the play down by my own goaline. That drive completely screwed me over this game. Clipping call on the kick-off return to make me start at my own 11, holding call on 2nd down after I had picked up the first, and then finally Cunningham gets knocked out of the game with a mild concussion because out of the 3 blocker I had leading him on a toss, not one wanted the block the only guy between him and possibly a 97 yard touchdown. I really hate it when the game makes my LB I am controlling run wherever at the snap of the ball. And btw, Cunningham is only a Junior. ;)

Do you still have Nick Woods? I somehow recruited him....he was a :5star: I left Army two seasons ago.

Ah that explains a lot about their roster. I was wondering how Army recruited a 96 speed WR. :D

Yeah he is my starting RB. Thank you for recruiting him because the kid is a beast. Not the fastest in the world but he is tough to tackle. Good acceleration and agility makes up for his 84 speed. He's the ideal runner for my style of offense as I prefer a bruising guy between the tackles and he is in the low 90's in breaking tackles which is an added bonus.

Well that sucks he got hurt. I remember that play now. Yeah he had all the room in the world if they would have just blocked that guy. He was just sliding off guys left and right in the first half. That second touchdown he had about made me throw my controller across the room because I thought for sure I had him stopped for a 3 or 4 yard gain and then boom he is gone.

Yeah, he is an absolute beast but is injury prone. In my first game in this dynasty last year, he got hurt on like his 3rd carry and was out for 11 weeks. He then proceeded to return for the Bowl game and ran for over 400 yards as they could not tackle him. My third string guy Smith ran for over 800 yards as a Fresh and was only like a 67ovr. The one problem I have with this team is the complete lack of speed on the outside. Also, my WR's enjoy dropping the ball for some reason. Not to mention, I cannot get any quality guys interested in this team as my pipelines are absolutely horrible.

Also, I know it is early but I was wondering if you have anything in mind for next year G?(13') The only reason I ask is because I am thinking about starting a dynasty on 13 and want to figure out what the plans are for this and Powerhouse before I come up with some ideas so they are not like the same dynasties and get stale. I am assuming you will be sticking with the lower tier schools but was just checking to make sure.

I believe Arkansas State is a 2-star school (last year we started with only 1-stars) so it might be somewhat flexible in that regard but we always build the OD around the teams in the Sun Belt (ie similar OVR & prestige).

:D No problem.

I started him his freshman year because of course I promised him the world as to my surprise he jumped into my top 10 after my first call. I think he's a junior now, he was buried in the depth chart last year I think...so that will explain the lack of stats then. The stud WR you're talking about is a transfer. I can't remember where he came from, but I never played with him as his sit-out year was my last year at Army.

Missouri pulls off another epic comeback. Down 33-7 in the 3rd, the offense and defense came roaring back for a 50-43 win against previously unbeaten SMU. This win should vault Missouri into the top 25.
