If you can do port triggering its preferred over port forwarding...

88, UDP
3074, UDP & TCP
53, UDP & TCP
80, TCP

Port 80 shouldn't ever be something you have to worry about. That's the basic HTTP port.

Port 88 is Kerberos ... are you suggesting these as PSN/XBL tweaks, or just general Internet connection improvement? I wouldn't think Kerberos would be used by PSN/XBL, but it's certainly possible ... now that I think about it, it would make sense, especially for XBL.

These are ports a Microsoft support tech told me. However, its not as simple s it sounds from my post. It maybe for some routers or modems not on mine you must set a trigger range and a Target range. I'm researching that right now.
I did set the triggers up and only filled in the ports from above. So far only disconnects were other players and not mine....I think.

Ok, I called xbox live support to find out what parameters I should set the port triggering up. They put me on with advanced network specialist. Turns out the best option for me was DMZ. It was easy, get the ip address your xbox uses and after you enable DMZ enter it into the ip field. My connection hasn't lagged or dropped two games.
If port triggering is what will help u check out this link.

Yep, DMZ is one of the go-to changes. Glad to see you're back up and running!

Amazing how much better a guy can play when there aren't lags or disconnects on the back of his mind!
