Guys, with all of us doing so well I think it's time we look at adjusting the sliders slightly. We won't make big swings just minor tweaks.

Looking at the team stats here's a few things I noticed.
1. WAY to few penalties for us. We are the 3 lowest by far, with the next closest having almost double what we had so we'll need to bump those up for sure.
2. Our team defensive sacks seem quite a bit higher than the rest of the teams so we may need to either lower our pass rushing or raise CPU pass blocking. I think if we raise pass blocking we'll also lower QB accuracy a bit so that yeah maybe the QB has more time but will be slightly less accurate resulting in more errant throws.
3. Might do the same thing with our offensive passing game, raise pass blocking and lower QB accuracy because it seems we take a lot of sacks and our QBs are maybe TOO accurate at times.
4. CPU running game seems to be lacking sometimes and a lot of that is due to so many teams running out of the shotgun and that not being very effective but I notice KSU led the nation by several hundred yards in defensive rushing yards allowed.

Think that's about it that I noticed. What are your thoughts on what I've got here and also any other suggestions or thoughts you may have outside of these?

I agree with everything but.......I think we should lower the pass rushing and leave the o-line slider alone...Reason. Sometimes its hard enough to keep a scrambling qb at bay and if we raise the o-line slider they will be more prone to scramble when no-one is open.

OK so instead of raising CPU pass blocking we'll instead lower HUM pass rushing...

Just a thought ....What do you think? We could try both...maybe half a season with one and other half with the other?

We'll go with your idea, I like the reasoning there and it makes a lot of sense.
Plus I'm not sure about you guys but I know I get a lot of sacks from blowing through on screen plays.

Thoughts:

Penalties: I definitely agree. I'd like to see us experiment with stuff other than Holding though. I get called for holding A TON. I think I saw 1 pass interference in the last 3 seasons combined.

Pass Rush: I'm ok with either approach, but don't think we need to get too carried away with adjustments. I think it's reasonable that we'd have higher sack totals than the other teams simply because we spend a greater amount of time playing in front. This is a reason I led the nation in rushing. B12 teams are wide open offenses anyway, most call hurry up, and if they're going to a running play from calling hurry up in 5 wide, they're toast. With KSU having a decent scoring offense, teams don't get to rush as much. What was ksu's ypc defensive average? Just a guess, but I'd say we had less total rushing plays against us as a defense. Skewed numbers.

Bottom line, I'm good with any changes to keep the game as realistic and balanced as possible.

K guys I upped all penalties except holding and clipping by one notch
Also lowered QB accuracy and pass rushing for both HUM and CPU by one notch each
