Since it's March and all, I thought I'd start a new thread for my current issue.

For whatever reason, ever since I switched to Google Chrome, I've been having issues with the forum where if I bold, italicize, or any other type of formatting on text and then go to hit backspace, it jumps to the end of the formatting instead of erasing what I was just typing.

Like, for instance, I'm typing this sentence right now. But then I hit backspace right here and it jumps back to erase the period from the previous sentence rather than erasing what I just typed. What's weird is it really only does it once and then it doesn't do it anymore until I attempt to do more formatting to the text and then it starts all over again.

It's been doing that to me for a long time. And when doing tables for my FIU dynasty or GSW association, it only happens when I'm currently typing something in bold. If I try to delete a letter to correct something, it jumps clear back to the previous column and starts deleting stuff from whatever I have typed there. It never does it when I'm just typing in plain text, only when typing in bold and only when in WYSIWYG editor mode.

I haven't come across that but most likely that's nothing we can really control... only up to the developer. There is a new version out there that we need to upgrade to but I haven't set aside any time to do the upgrade. It might fix it.

When are we gonna update the graphics and stuff? I'd like to help. Rotate banners or themes for certain seasons...the possibilities are endless.

I've got Chrome (though I probably have an older version than you), and I don't see any problem with formatting + backspace.

Maybe it has something to do with Adblock plus being installed. Do you use that as well Jeff?

Is there any difference between replying in Quick Reply and replying from the "Advanced" page?

Not really an issue but was wondering if their was a possibility of adding something that hides TGT as a game website so I can browse from work?

The site gets categorized as gaming, and unless you can convince the powers-that-be who run the content blocker that it's not ...

Basically, you'd have to find a way to make a fake site that is actually TGT while appearing to be something legitimate.

I just noticed this in the Sights and Sounds thread. The user post count is staying with their posts instead of it changing dynamically throughout all of their posts.

It's not dynamic/instant but occurs every 15 minutes or thereabouts I believe.

I could have sworn that I've seen it update pretty much immediately. But now that I go back and look at that thread they are all updated.

I believe that's also why you see threads with "Replies: 1" and "Views: 0", which is of course impossible.

There's really no other sports-gaming sites out there that you can draw attention from. Between attention/links from OS, PastaPadre, and the occasional reference from EA itself, there's really not much else that could be done in my mind. Newbies just don't stick around here (which is true for most forums).

But if you had something else in mind, I'd imagine they'd be all ears.

I was referring to OS -- I'm from OS -- I'm not that bad :). I know a lot of people's memberships are fattening during this time. Not a bad time to swing some more traffic this way. I know a lot of new guys don't make the cut but out of that volley, a few could work out.

Ok, fair enough. I was just throwing it out there. I read every GC's review but the ones written here normally give me the most honest information, something all of the sim heads appreciate.

Now I have a question and also another suggestion. Is it possible to bring the league section up a little bit, maybe even have its own 'Parent Forum'? May give a little more attention to those areas.

Ok, fair enough. I was just throwing it out there.It wasn't a bad idea, Jerzey. But OS and TGT have a pretty good relationship, and there's been a decent (if slowing as of late) amount of people coming here from OS. Outside of blatantly advertising TGT on OS (which the guys here wouldn't do, out of respect), there's not much that could be done. Neither site is going to straight mooch users off the other.

I wasn't saying that OS has bad people, just that we've probably gotten all the interest from OS that we're going to get. That's what I meant with "been there". I still go to OS regular for discussion on Head Coach 09.

Is it possible to change the default page of "Advanced Search" from "Multiple Content Types" to "Single Content Type"? I didn't even realize what was going on until recently, and I think the majority would be using Single Content Type. I hadn't even actually used Advanced Search until this week because it wasn't giving me options that were available in other searches within the forums. It's the difference between "Single" and "Multiple" that caused the discrepancy.

Is there any way we could allow HTML posts to be allowed here?

With my Golden State Warriors NBA 2K12 Association dynasty, I've been using the OS table generators so it would look cleaner and nicer, but then I have to go through the added hassle of screen capping the table, saving it, cropping out all the extra crap, uploading it to my photobucket, etc. An absolute pain in the ass in the long run.

I've been making due with the tables we have on here for my FIU dynasty, but I would definitely give consideration to using the OS table generator for my FIU dynasty come NCAA 13 if I thought it looked cleaner, better, more compact, etc, than a billion typed up tables like I have now.

After looking at it, I've yet to figure out a way that it could be supported without opening up the potential for anyone here to post whatever HTML they wanted to (and I think we know why that could be a very bad idea). In fact, I'm still trying to figure out how that's not a massive security hole on OS's end either.

Have you tried copying and pasting the table straight? I tested it when we went to this new format for tables and it works for me. It may not be exactly the same (colors, etc.) but certainly a close approximation.

If it doesn't work in your browser of choice, try it in IE.

You guys were right just copy/pasted a chart from someone else's dynasty over at OS and it appears to work. :))

Yeah I played with ti and if you change the font to White for example it shows. Doesn't look as crisp/professional but it will do. Also, it appears that the chart has to be copied pasted from a post somewhere else so I guess I'll "blog" my dynasty charts at OS and then paste them here as well.
