If its the third Saturday in October, that only means one thing. Hatred renewed in Knoxville. Last year Tennessee visited Tuscaloosa and suffered their first loss of the season, ending their National Championship hopes. The Vols avenged that loss in the SEC title game, but still didn't get to play for the crystal prostate. This year UT is 3-3 and hosts the undeafted Crimson Tide. Let's go to the game!
Tennessee scored first with a safety. It was all D early, as both teams played field position. Alabama stopped UT and then ground out a TD drive to lead 7-2 at the end of the first. In the second, Heisman hopeful Devrin Young started to gouge the Tide, which opened up some big passes. UT scored three times to Bama's one, and lead at the half 23-14. The turning point of the game came late in the second quarter as UT's ROLB Terrance Harrison, forced and recovered a fumble deep in Bama territory. That lead to the final TD of the first half and gave UT the lead.
In the third, Bama charged hard. They scored on the opening drive, and the UT offense was put on lock down. Luckily, the defense didn't rest and claimed their second safety of the game. UT still lead 25-21. In the fourth, both teams traded TD runs, including an 80 yard scamper from Devrin Young. A punt gave the ball back to the Vols, clinging to a 4 point lead. After a couple of time chewing runs, UT got greedy. They tried to put a stake in Nick Saban's heart with a pass but the ball found a sneaky safety. Bama converted a pair of big strikes to set up a 7 yard TD run, and now they had the lead. Their 2 point conversion failed, so it was 34-32 Tide.
UT came back with a minute left by hitting a big pass down the sidelines to Tino Thomas, and riding the back of Devrin Thomas to the end zone. The kick was good and orange lead red 39-34. Bama ran out of time and the Vols D celebrated as Tennessee returns the favor of ending a perfect season. This puts UT back in the race for a division title, and knocks Bama out of NC contention.
Ready to advance.

Ok, I see that things have gotten slow here, so I'm going to be looking to transfer Commish duties to someone else, as I will be dropping out of the OD. I've had a blast but Ive had an offline one going using SECelite's 2012 Heisman sliders and Im enjoying it very much. I was thinking of doing an OD using them and custom conferences that I made. Most of them are the same as real life with a couple of changes for location purposes. I was thinking of having teams start as 1* schools from non bcs conferences, and you would have to finish your coaching contract before you move on. Let me know if anyone is interested, and we can make it happen. Otherwise I've had a great time with this league and hopefully we can all get together again for 2013. Here is the link for the sliders i use

Count me in!
I think this pulls the plug on this OD and anyone interested in finishing out should just save it, rename it, and run it out that way. I'd hang in if I could meet up with someone in a bowl game, but that's unlikely.
Thanks to everyone for keeping in this long. Good luck in the summer and we'll link up through PSN for the '13 season. What's that, only 4 months away? Nice!

I had fun. Thanks guys
Sorry the dynasty fell like it did this year. After the fiasco of our dynasty locking up + me relocating and being very busy with work I just lost complete interest in 12.
