Not sure if anyone else ever wants something like this but the one major annoyance about the Dynasty Wire site is that you have to sign-in to see your information. Often, I just want to quickly view the Teams page to see what the status is of everyone in the OD.

I've discovered a way to do just that. The commissioner has to set the "Allow Browsing" option to Yes on the Teams page (this will let anonymous users access the OD). Once that is done, it's just a matter of determining your OD's dynasty id (dyid). The easiest way to do that is to click the Browse Dynasties link at the top. Then on the search page, enter your ODs name. If you have 11 members or less, it should show up; if you have 12 members, see the bottom for the long answer on how to find your dyid. If you click on the link, it will take you to your OD's homepage.

You'll notice though, in the URL it now shows the variables for dyid and platform. Copy the end of the URL from the ? to the end of the platform. For example, in my SBCOL3 OD, the URL is http://www.easports.com/dynasty/home?dyid=417636&platform=PS3 so I would want to grab "?dyid=417636&platform=PS3" from the URL. If you then click on the Teams tab, you'll notice that the URL is now http://www.easports.com/dynasty/teams. If you add the switches to the end of that URL, it will then take you to your teams page so that you can bookmark it. My ODs team page would become http://www.easports.com/dynasty/teams?dyid=417636&platform=PS3

You can do this for all of your ODs... just save the bookmark for each, and then quickly check their status without having to sign in. You can even view the other pages for your OD, though obviously won't be able to do any recruiting or SuperSim.

If you have 12 members in your OD, it won't appear in the Browse Dynasties screen because that's intended for ODs that have available openings. However, you can find your dyid by signing into your OD, and from the homepage, click the twitter button on the latest story (you likely have to have a twitter account). This will open a dialogue to post to twitter and in the tweet, the URL includes the dyid. Copy that number and then modify the URL for the teams page from above.

Hope that helps other people as it really has helped me. I looked into how easy it might be to create a smartphone app by just rendering the teams page inside an app but unfortunately it's not as simple as I had hoped it would be.

Thanks for this, G. The "Allow Browsing" option was something that caused a lot of confusion last year. I don't know if it's still true on the new site, but on the last version if you didn't have "Allow Browsing" (or whatever the equivalent was), you couldn't even view news posts without being signed in and a member of the OD.
