Week 6 now open

Sorry for the delays and lack of writeups on my behalf, our computers HD died Monday, so the only Interne taccess I have currently is my iPhone.

Tennessee returns tot he gridiron to face Ole Miss, down in Oxford, MS. With some of the nicest sights in all of college football, the Rebels provide a formidable distraction. Unfortunately for them, the distractions can't stop the rush.

Dervin Young rushed for 140 yards and 1 TD as the Volunteers pulled away from Ole Miss, 23-8. This was an uninspiring game. Ole Miss didn't let us pass the ball as we're used to, but with the run game working so well, we didn't have to worry about it. A pair of INTs from cornerback Jon Thompson sealed the game for UT.

The Jayhawks win their 3rd straight 27-10 against WVU. Once again Kansas balanced flexbone attack did just enough to secure the win scoring 20 2nd half points. The team ran for 220 yards and everyone got a little bit of the action -

QB Brock Berglund was 8-23 143 1 TD and 1 INT. As usual the passing game needs a little work. The coaches are really blaming themselves at this point for the lack of consistancy. OC John Doe was quoted as saying "We need to a better job of working with both the QB and WR's. If it's not a bad pass it's a dropped pass."
