Baylor Handles Iowa St. 63-31
Baylors offense continues to roll on. They came out and completely destroyed Iowa St. Eventhough Iowa St. scored first and for the first couple of possessions looked like it might be a back and forth game, Baylors D seemed to figure out the Cyclone offense, and the rest was downhill from there. Downhill being the phrase of the day, as the Baylor ground game was in high gear. The Bears racked up a whopping 405 yards on 59 carries with a 6.9 yac! The offense also went 12-21 threw the air, but the passing game was not called on much. The ground game seem to just overwhelm the Cyclones. The Bears also were the most effecient they have been all season going 11-13 on third downs, and were perfect in the redzone. Talking with Coach Willard after the game, we mentioned that the offense looked very similar to his tenture at FAU. He said "yes they are very similar, except here I have the talent to throw the ball when we need/want to. Its a nice change, but if I have a stud HB and the D cannot stop him, you better believe that he will be carrying the rock." Next up the Bear will finish up their regular season and try to get to the 8th win mark with another road game(3rd in a row) when they travel and take on the Kansas Jayhawks.

Tennessee almost throws away their season in the finale. With a 3 point lead and a chance to run down the clock, UT opts for the setup pass play which results in an INT. Kentucky, of course, goes 2 plays and scores and leaves me with :54 on the clock. Well my fastest is faster than their and we had one shot left. Kentucky had the double safety blitz and my WR caught his hot route in stride and pulled away from the MLB. Game over. We kicked the XP, swatted down the hail mary attempt and closed out the season on the high note.
Next up, a rematch with the former #1 Alabama team. Michigan #1? Troy #2 Nevada #3??? Wow....
