Baylor Dominates Kansas St. 54-24

Coach Willard's offense was once again on fire. They started a little slow, only scoring 7 points in the first quarter, but after that they just tore through the Kansas St. D. The Bears racked up 652 offensive yards, with 333 passing yards. With another 319 on the ground. QB Petty had another great day going 12-24 for 335 and 3 TD's. RB Bennett added 319 rushing yards, with 8.2 yards a carry, and another 3 TD's. WR Reese added 146 yards receiving and 2 TD's to his season total. The Bears seem to be rolling offensively, despite their horrible pass defense. Right now the pass defense is rated 117 of 120. Next up the Bears will take on Iowa St.

Tennesse thought it was going to make quick work of in-state rival, Vanderbilt, but the Commodores fought all night long. At that point, I started thinking about mass subs. Still...the Volunteers got out to a 21 point lead. For TDs, that's once, twice, three times a scoring drive. Getting that kind of lead so early put the orange and white into their own wonderland.

Raijon Neal continued to hit opponents like a Brick House. But the defense seemed to check out and sail, sail on. Vandy came firing back like a machine gun to threaten, but in the end, UT kept their lead to earn 62-45 the victory. I wouldn't say the win was easy, like a Sunday morn, but we were in control the entire time.
