My North Dakota State Buffaloes... who I will be doing a dynasty with as soon as rosters for the 360 are done. I've also eliminated the NDSU text as it got in the way of the Nike logo.

Not original at all... it's basically the Buffalo Bills old uni and yet also looks similar to SMU's current one. My alternate home uni is red and the alt. road has red numbers trimmed in blue. Nice, clean look.

One thing though... the new lighting wreaks havoc on helmets at night... Colorado's look horrible at night and my white NDSU helmets look silver???

in ncaa 10 , the white helmets would have a silver/ grey shade / sheen depicting reflection / shading. But this year as it gets darker ie -day becomes night- that sheen is amped more so. Like a polyurethane coating on the helmet ...

I made the middle stripe on helmet pure white. The helmet is white minus a few degrees with color wheel. It still looks good in game.:cool:

but looking at the picture now i'm doubting they would stand out to someone else.


one thing upset me = the white jersy of that simple design is another mistake jersey with black curved stripes that dont belong. I dont think that shirt had that problem last year ...?

The Cardinals originally were going to be like the Arizona Cards uni from a few years back, before they switched to what they wear now. Then I decided to use black as the main color.

the shoes have to do with who's roster you picked.
people need to use the color wheel to lesson the black just a little.

ever since the PS2 days, I liked the concept. when dynasty started doing ESPN mag- covers of your team in game. I liked looking at that haha

granted, i'm upset at google because a week ago, nice regular pages showed up. Now , google images has something that takes longer to load and doesnt show logo/picture dimensions unless you put mouse curser over it- whats up with that? I dont see a setting to go back to the old way ...?

I just looked up the tribe name and its location on the internet to at least get the State its near by ,correct. When it comes to cities, I just come up with something fictional with -ville or - burgh at the end of it just to quicken the process. It takes long enough trying to vary Indian names haha.

I just favorited(favorited is not recognized by spell check:P) a couple Indian name sites for quick reference.

I try not to black too often and I kind of hate it when guys just make something like a current NFL uni to put into college game. But I ended up doing a nice pseudo copy job last night haha

The last couple years, my friends have done a fantasy college football league thing where we use teams and points instead of individual players.

We all have team names. So, I took the next step/idea and made uni's for our teams .

i'm happy Valley State haha
my one friend named his - the las Lunas State U compound Crew. I guess the street he lives on has alot of trees and he jokes about getting his kids to work even though they are all under 5 yrs old haha.
at first I was just going with a lumberjack theme than I found a great logo of a gun and axe crossing eachother. So the compound crew is a cross between lumberjacks and a cult haha.
the other logo is great because it looks like my friend- he has a blonde goatee /beard. So I used yellow to make it look like him haha- and camo pants !

I tried to recreate the 66-67 helmet, but for some reason it didn't turn out well. I don't recall what the problem was, but I couldn't get it to work with something. Maybe I needed a darker red ... that may have been it.

I actually like this. Except for the Goth Rockers logo on the first helmet. But the bat logo is nice. If the Misfits owned a football team or Danzig U (or Verotik College) opened up it would be these guys who would take the field.

I load them onto my EA profile/locker room , what ever its called site and then put them in a photobucket free account and transfer them here.

as far as colors go... I just google a color name in images and add artpaints.com and look for stuff I like or alter a color using pixlr.com
